i didnt go there to watch the game.... but watching the extended highlights back was typical briers...as he comes into the last few years of his career he is playing better than he ever has done.

loads of brilliant passes into gaps.... great kicking... massive drop goal... 'briers incercept'... master class in how to play 6.

was absolutely brilliant - what wasn't shown in the tv highlights was his general positional kicking which was awesome - he was probably the difference between the two evenly matched sides IMO

good contributions from the rest with Riley doing ok at FB and Solomona making a big impact when coming on - thought Myler had a 'quiet' game tho'

The best thing Lord Smith did for Lee Briers career was to drop him from the team from day 1 - it sent a message to Briers and he has had 2 stunning years. Such an intelligent rugby league player - sees things that others don't

Myler - it looked as though he took a blow to the head early on, maybe slowed him down. His defending has improved 1000%

Myler was very good in defence, some games you have to do the tough things rather than be the superstar

Myler played first receiver quite a lot. The game plan was to move around the big Catalan pack and tire them out in the heat. So for the majority you saw Myler drifting and shipping the ball behind to Briers. I thought he had a good game albeit a relatively quiet one. As someone else alluded to, solid in defence and had to do a lot of work.

it's a fookin shame the announcement in english was so poor that no one knew what was going on until it sort of dawned on a few of us that the home fans were a bit quite!

It wasn't clear at all that there was going to be a minute's silence to be honest. I don't think that the noise was intentional just most people hadn't realised what was happening.

Briers was superb and probably the difference between the two sides. I thought Myler had a pretty good game.

can't think of anything clearer than 8500 french fans standing in silence....

good solid performance and a deserved victory from the Wires but Briers was outstanding IMO and won you the game - ironic it was Menzies whose error changed the course of the game

Nice and refreshed Briers for the run in. Five wins and we are League Leaders Shield winners and Champions.

We are always respectful of any minutes silence, as others have said we werent aware of it for quite a while. I only heard the loudspeaker in English, once during the game and that was the lucky number draw, everything was in french and catalan.

There was also silence for the last 5 mins from the french fans as most of them had walked out !
