Their isn't a single thread with the word "weather" in the title in the first 4 pages of this forum so i'm not sure what your point is, i stopped at the first 4 pages as i couldn't be bothered looking any further.

People who will be betting on the game like myself will want to know what the weather is going to be like on saturday as thats a key thing in RL, its a leveller for Wigan.

THIS. I wish people would stop concluding that we suddenly develop the inability to play when it rains!

Whose said anywhere on this thread that we can't play in the wet ? We have beaten saints and Wigan in the wet so its obvious that we can play in the wet, its just in dry conditions i would be confident of us blowing anyone away given our recent form.

Its not rocket science really, a team that likes to throw the ball around like we do and likes to offload at will are going to be a far better side when its dry, of course we can win in the wet but thats not the point.

Weather forecasts can be wrong anyway so i'd take that with a pinch of salt until nearer the time when it will be more accurate, its a one off game and we fell apart in the wet at saints last year in our play off game. Rain for Wigan is a leveller as most of the experts will tell you that were currently the best ball playing side in the league, a lot of their game is based around defence and trying to dominate in the middle which stops strong packs getting on top and then setting up the field position for the backs.

They obviously have their own dangerous players in the backs but our 1-7 + Michael Monaghan look a lot more creative than Wigan's equivelant.

The only time we will know what the weather is going to be like is when we wake up on the Sat morning!!

This is obvious as everyone above seems to be banging on about it raining. Yet the forecast in the link says NO RAIN??? Oh what a change in a few hours!!!

if we are to be contenders, we need to be able to beat ANYBODY regardless of weather or referees.

i'm not saying those factors can't affect games, but we need to be able to overcome those factors because champion teams do

They have changed/updated their prediction for saturday, yesterday it had light rain Saturday AM then moderate/heavy rain in the afternoon and in the evening.

They will probably change it again today and also on wednsday, thursday friday and saturday until all bases are covered so that one of their guesses is right.

If you check now its probably got heavy snow Saturday AM followed by 25 degree sunshine in the afternoon and then a hurricane warning in the evening.

I have never read so much cack in all my life! I came on here to see if thee was any decent chat about what will surely be one of the best games of rugby for a very long time and all I can see is false confidence from a bunch if one eyed clowns!
Rain or no rain, y are in for a tough game and I for one can't wait for it.
As for who will win well I think it's Bering hard to call but one thing for sure is there will be no walk over for either side.

Wigan by 8 and I'll be back on here to see the excuses on Saturday night!
