Strong rumour I have heard today that Carvell has agreed a deal to stay at wire next season watch this space......

i heard he has a 2 year NRL contract sorted. time will tell.

if it's to NRL then no one can blame him for leaving. every players wants to play in the best league and that is the best league in the world.

I wonder if any other sl sides have been in for him this time. I remember Saints were trying to sign him before he resigned for Hull just before Wire signed him.

It was a joke - and was only a small part of the picture I had - but, despite the way some of the Wigan fans laughed at King and/or Briers in the past, my avatar was causing too much grief to others, and the discussion subjects just turned into slanging matches about it, rather than the original subject, and they ended up getting locked down, so I thought it wise, and easier just to change it.

Deffo 2 more years with us, Louis deffo off to Les Cat's because he and his family are missing the weather, straight up he was offered a great deal with Wire but this was the deciding factor.

I'll take that. Gaz is playing well and should easily be in the England squad (as more than a stand by replacement). He drives us forward as much as Moz and is a big player for us!

Louis rumour is probably true, can't blame him! He's had few good years with us and fancies a change. No doubt we'll bring quality in (Waterhouse?)

I really hope we have signed him up for another 2 years and these rumours are true, this year he has been very impressive. Leaner and meaner, busting tackles and looking like a call-up to the England squad will be just around the corner.

Missing what weather? He's a New Zealander we signed from the Warriors! Beautiful country, not necessarily known for its sunshine though.

I was ready to offload Carvell, after last seasons performances (I know he was coming back from an injury, but that wears thin after a month)

New Zealand has a very similar climate to us, NZ is a little wetter and the South island is a lot colder in winter.
