Pretty smart shirt that, I like how Saints always try to stay consistent with the home kit.

I know it's not our traditional pattern, but I always liked kits with the primrose and blue stripes/hoops, wouldn't mind every home kit being a variation on that to be honest.

Not sure i like the new logo, but the traditinal, red V on the front looks not bad, bettter than our V on out away shirt. Alot thicker and stands out better than ours.

I agree, and I wish Wire would do the same. Though we don't have a 'traditional' pattern, it would seem, as we fanny about with either hoops or chevrons from year to year.

Agreed. Can anyone imagine Celtic having anything other than a green and white hooped home kit? Or Newcastle in black and white stripes? Liverpool all red? Real Madrid all white? The Milan clubs' distinctive stripes?

These shirts are iconic and although they change regularly for financial reasons, the basic design doesn't. Saints have that same principle and I wish Warrington did too. Personally I'd go with primrose and blue hoops if I was standardising it. This year's home kit is great.

From 1892-1965 they wore white shorts. Bill Shankley decided in a European match vs Anderlecht to change it to all red to make them look "Bigger". They won and the rest is history

Yes, funnily enough I knew that. It is now standard though, and can be used as evidence that standardisation doesn't neccessarily have to be the first colours a team ever wore. Warrington can therefore start now with a chosen standard design if they so desire. It will obviously take many years to build up the history of Saints red vee, but it can be done.

Leeds Utd had their kit changed to all white by Don Revie in an attempt to emulate the respect & fear afforded to the great Real Madrid team. Previous to that they had been yellow & blue. Also Juventus got their black & white stripes as a tribute to Notts County.

As long as we have primrose, blue & white as the foundation I too would welcome an "identikit" for the club to be associated with...
