Yeah but you can easily discount 3 of them straight away as they never played a game for us, Russell played about 2 games and Bullock played about 6 as did Dudson i think. So 6 out of the 8 barely made any impact and aren't really a loss.
Only Nicholson, Drinkwater and Bateman you could actually class as a loss.
So i still don't class it as a rebuild year


I'm looking forward to Okoro getting on the field as he is a big lad and could potentially make an impact. Thomas looked really good in pre-season before his injury so hoping he can get some game time.
I keep forgetting about Lucas Green as well, he looked pretty good the few times i've seen him play, and a lot of game time at Bradford will have done him good.
I was thinking with the size of Dan Russell he might be used as a prop at some point, unless he is great after pre-season and can take Currie or Fitzs spot he seems a bit of a wasted signing. Will wait and see how he's used.

Will Musgrove be looking to impress? Don’t think we have seen him out of 3rd gear so far tbh

Hopefully we're sounding out Tevita Pangai Junior as Vaughan/Musgrove's replacement for next season. That'd be nice.

With Wood sure to improve and maybe Thomas finally coming through - Musgrove is really going to have to impress to stay in the 17 and put himself in the shop window.

Yeah he's just a steady prop who gives our better props a breather basically. Not seen anything of what he was like in the NRL which would have been a big bonus for us. Like someone said on here a while ago, sometimes overseas players don't hit their stride until there 2nd year, so i'm hoping it's the same and hit takes it up a gear next year

He has a baby that would have kept him up at nights sharing the feeding and or nappy duties.
It does affect life structure, and may have had an impact on his game.
Hopefully a 2nd season may be better as you said.
