On the bright side all our other 'pivots' i.e. Ratchford, Myler, Bridge, Higham are all in good form. And Russell too, though I wish sometimes he'd learn to pass the ball. I've been pleasantly surprised by Bridge lately.

I personally think Ratchford is wasted at FB, he is too good a player to be playing there and his overall play is better suited to the havles.
FB is Russells position and I wouldnt bother moving him as he is just going to grow into that position for years to come.

I agree with Irish, Ratch is brilliant in the halves and the first few games of the season proved how he is wasted at FB.

As for Russell, I can't really fault his effort. Sure he needs to improve on a few things but nothing stands out as a huge issue.

I think because Asotasi played alright people just need someone else to moan about.

Almost of the games on the net of Russell in Aus had him playing from wing and taking the ball up at dummy half.

We lacked in structured attack without Ratchford with Bridge. I can't fault Myler's effort yesterday but the line breaks are more opportunistic than balanced.

His first try, the way he noticed the Bradford defender ignore an order and go to the wrong side of the sticks, then dummy, side-step and power his way over in that gap.

I'm glad to see him find some form since coming back.
