Colin Dixon would have eaten Ablett for breakfast. In an era of hit men he was as good or as bad as any of them depending on your point of view. IMO I doubt if anything he did was accidental. I remember him pile driving Jim Challinor head first into the ground deliberately injuring him and, on another occasion deliberately stamping on John Bevan's ankle
whilst he was on the floor under a pile of bodies having just been tackled. One of the most malicious players I ever saw.
