Funny, but last year was more a feeling of intrepidation ahead of what was always going to be a nervous game against a dangerously experienced opposition ...... this week, and especially this morning, I've been bouncing around and can't wait to get there and cheer the Wire on to a win .... no nerves or worries, just excited smiles ........
I'm still all calm like. Just fed my little girl, she's down for a nap in half an hour, so I'll get today's run done then, shower, have lunch, pop and see my gran in her home, then it'll be time to leave. Expect I'll only get nervy when we get to our seats. Gotta says its more excitement and expectation this year though. This is why we go through what a lot of us have been through.
Wasn't there an American Football coach who used to end his pre-match pep talks with "where else would you rather be, than right here, right now?"
