It takes 40 minutes roughly to close... Design flaw me thinks..

The roof at Wembley was "designed" to cover all the spectator areas from the elements. As an element of the design, to ensure the best conditions for the ground, the southern section of the roof is design so that it can be retracted to allow more sunlight onto the grass.

Or to put it another way....................the designers screwed up.


(OH, and dont worry about a scud attack. The missile batteries set up for the Olympics will take care of them)

To be fair I enjoyed sitting comfortably at the front of the upper watching our lot leg it for cover below.

it wouldnt have mattered whether it was closed or not. The bloody think was leaking like mad where i was sat lol
