My previous post....which seems to have been locked for some reason, was not meant to be inflammatory to such as degree. Just a query regarding whether supporters are prepared to turn out in numbers for early Challenge Cup rounds that they may see as a foregone conclusion. I'm sure Mr Smith and players will be taking the match seriously on Friday but will they get the support through the turnstiles - something which is not specific to Warrington but others also.

All I'm saying is - a supporter is a supporter, whoever they are, so attendances at these matches tell there own tale.

a less than huge crowd for a cup game against lower league opposition is no big deal really.....However, imagine not turning out in big numbers for such games as...... a cup semi final.... that would be really bad.

Now hang on here a moment Morleys deckchair. Are you trying to suggest that Wigan fans would not even turn up to a Semi Final in Widnes against one of their bitterest rivals. Not only that but with their opposition having a nightmare in the Super league and who at the time looked like they would not even finish in a playoff position?

imagine that, watching your team in a semi final at a neutral ground but the opposition bring way more fans and then have the audacity to go and beat you! i'd be gutted with those part timers for not turning up!
