i'd have held my head in shame, as a 20+ stone ex service man, ex night club doorman, who has worked in forensic mental health settings with very dangerous mentally ill offenders i think my banter was on a level that was
a. not designed to provoke violence
b. resulted in the pieman seeing the funny side of the situation (especialy seeing that he's caused the problem partly himself by parking badly!)
c. i didn't call him a d!ckhead, unlike the idiot who got slapped about.
d. i can look after myself.
