It was very sad that nothing was said about Monaghans man of the match performance at todays home coming.

Winning the Lance Todd Trophy is an achievement on its own and Monaghan should have recieved the plaudits of todays crowd.

If it had been Briers they wouldn't have shut up about it.

When did Higham ever think he would be a "starting #9" at all his clubs Leigh, St Helens, Bradford, Wigan & Warrington.
There was only one club where he was a starting #9 & that was Leigh.

Providing Monagham stays next season we start with Monas, use Higham off the bench and use John Clarke as a 2nd row/loose forward.

Plenty of competition for the back row places - Clarke,Grix,Louis and Vinnie, Harrison, Westwood along with Mitchell and McCarthry ( plus to a lesser extent Blythe )

I think our bench will need a couple more seats. What with Woods , Bridge, Higham, Clarke, Grix, Cooper, Mitchel, McCarthry & Blythe. It should make an interesting new season.
