As much as Riley gave his all at fullback, and scored some magic tries, the organisational side of the role for a young, shy lad isn't going to be his strongpoint. I think he's a follower, not a leader, and there's nothing wrong with that. Mathers seems to do this quite naturally.
He'll only get better Mathers, the more matches he plays.
