he was given exemption for the Club ( Rovers ) he signed with after the Crusaders went bump , but only for the length of that contract.
So now he will just be another Non Fed Trained Aus player.

We have more than enough back row players in the same mould, a specialist prop is what we need.

Pretty sure he was one of the players who had signed for the Crusaders but got left high and dry when they folded, that's when the exemption was brought in to try and help players left in this position.
