Great news today, as Marwan confirms his role at the club is simply now to just sign the cheques. We should therefore have no involvement from him with regards to recruitment, agents will be going direct to Tim Sheens who will then negotiate contracts and such. Previously this was a job undertaken by both Vickers and Koukash with no experience in doing so at all.
Anyone in and around the club will tell you the positivity (Leeds game apart - but we saw what they did to Warrington a couple of weeks ago) is oozing from the place at the moment, a stark contrast to the weeks and months prior to Sheens arrival.
Article also states signings will be announced once Tim feels it's appropriate, I would imagine if we get a win against Bradford at weekend we might have or two announced.

Remember , this is a journalist reporting a conversation with MK.
I sincerely hope he does stick to his guns on this but I don't think you can call it negativity if fans are sceptical.
He does have form as long as your arm for changing tack.
Overall,though,on a positive note the vibes are far better and the performances reflect that.
As a racehorse owner I don't think he sees value in the mega signings,as he's been let down time and again.
I think he's looking for a more sustainable model,although nobody will ever make Salford self-financing.
Sheens seems extremely good news and I think ,for once,we have a plan.

I've heavily criticised the running of the club by Koukash this season, but you cant help but think the penny has finally dropped. Tim Sheens wont take any sh*t and will have laid it all on the table - if you want a successful RL team, you need to leave the running of the club to others.
I have spoken to a few of the players who have openly said that since TS arrival, the place is much happier and Marwan has noticeably taken a back seat.
If Sheens stays on, I am very confident for our chances next season but if he doesn't I think his spell here will have hit home the need for us to have either a) an experienced head coach or b) a director of football. |

I agree.
It's one thing to lose to a Championship side, it's another to get battered off them. The performance was a disgrace. With the Club officially announcing IH's departure, MK needs to listen to Sheens about the replacement. Getting the right person in charge (Finally!) will be the next big step.
I can see a cull of the current playing squad approaching when the season's finished. |

You tell me any business owner who wouldn't be pi$$ed off at his staff after such a shocking display of professionalism, the Doc for me had every right to go into the changing rooms after the game and give ever man Jack of them hell.
As long as what he said/says stays behind closed doors and not done in a drunken stupor on anti social media then I'm happy for him to run HIS club in the way he sees fit.
If some of the shirkers in the ranks don't like there's the door please don't let it hit your ar$e on the way through it.
