Does anyone know if the 4 Superleague clubs are seeded to avoid each other?
It would be ridiculous if they were drawn against each other.
Before anybody has an opinion,could I point out, up to this point the draw is continually seeded by keeping different levels of club apart.

If it's an open draw,why don't they place ALL Superleague clubs in at the same round?
It seems to me that mathematics is the only reason for placing only 4 Superleague teams in.

Swinton home or Away. Or @ NW Crusaders , if only for the chance to stock up on Rosies proper Cider

For me it's grossly unfair, it's not that the other clubs are involved in another competition as happens in football. No for me it gives the teams in the top eight from the previous season more of a chance of retaining that top 8 place the season after by giving them an extra weekend off.

For me this makes the game a bit of a laughing stock.

Apart from the top 3 this year, which in theory could have come from anywhere within the 8.

I don't think it makes the game a laughing stock, who's laughing at it because the top 8 get 'rewarded' for being in the previous year's play offs? You know when the season gets extended for some but not for others.

Deary me, if we harbour any aspirations of winning the CC we cant be scared of Championship sides like Leigh.



Salford would comfortably beat Leigh, home or away.

It’s a sad state of affairs, but we would struggle to beat Leigh away. Certainly not a tie I'd relish anyway.

Leigh have made winning a habit, the town is on a high as they try and make a push for SL, they have been getting far bigger league crowds than us, Beaumont will have them fired up due to his dislike of Koukash, Paul Rowley will have them firing, Hock will run riot. It has all the makings of a typical upset and in a one off game anything is possible, look how close they came to Leeds last year and is not as if they don’t have previous of beating us challenge cup ties is it?

Don't forget they turned a decent Wigan side over as well at the LSV, pre-season friendly or not it was an impressive result.
