| Seriously i was at the game on Sunday and although not happy and annoyed with some of the ref decisions i didn't hear any chants like this. If so this is a disgrace. Was this in the miniority?

| Some "newer" fans seem to forget that we are not typical 70's football fans.
Dreading Saturday after some have been on the lash ... hopefully they only get as far as The Early Bath.

| It's disappointing some fans don't come to watch the rugby just make it an excuse for pi** up and give certain teams bad names! As i say though i was lucky enough not hear these chants as well as i was with my son!

| If you were in the Salford end,it was difficult to miss the paedo chant.
Don't know what form the Hillsborough chant takes, but plenty of anti Scouse chants, from directly behind the sticks, about half way up.

| I heard the chant calling Wolfie a peado once towards the end of the game shouted by around 10-15 people.
Didnt hear anything about Hillsborough, what was it they were singing?

| I hear stuff like W**ky W**ky Warrington which pretty much every team sings, and the usual scouse chants which is normal as well although i prefer it when they sing the Chase song or Red Army but hey ho anything for a good atmosphere as long as it's within reason!

The Warrington fans were chanting for Wolfie to 'show us your a**e'.
Wolfie drops his costume bottoms ,bent and showed them his underpants.
Reds fans chanted paedo.
Completely out of order but that's what I saw and heard

| Which part is unacceptable, the dropping of his pants infront of kids or people chanting peado towards him for doing so?

| I was at both matches and didn't hear anything, so, hopefully, it's only a tiny minority.
In general, I can't understand why the people who want to chant have to chant puerile abuse. I don't need to be told about excessive onanism amongst Warrington fans. Jeez, some of the ones that come on here prove it single handedly (as it were). I don't hate Leeds, nor do I think they're scum. Why can't they get behind the team? It does seem that for some numpties, the chanting is more important than the game itself. There was an incident on Sunday where we made a half break, but it went unnoticed by the chanting cretins who were too busy goading the home fans.

| I still remember some of the stuff chanted in the Late 70's 80's ... 90's for that matter .
Today's tame by comparison .
I was at both the Saints & Wire games.
Saints game the ' inappropriate Grooming ' chant was directed at 1 particularly annoying home supporter who entered into ' lively banter'. stupidly .
the Wire game I concur the 1 single chant was aimed at a Mascot , for getting undressed .
Generally east of Salford everyone gets called ' Yorkshire B...' West of Salford everyone gets call ' Scouse B... '
It's all childish and I'd rather the more inventive & humourous chants were used , rather than ' it's nice to know your here..' however I wouldn't want to overstate the issue .

Perfect summary.
There was a small group who I would describe as casual supporters who were chanting anti scouse songs you would hear at Man U - Liverpool games. Most people looked at them with bemusement rather that joining in.
I personally find the oh w***y Warrington song embarressing as some times we sing that more than our own songs but each to their own.

| I didn't hear the Hillsborough chant but people tell me it was sung which is clearly out of order.
I didn't sing it but I don't think its worth getting het up about the peado song. People calling mascots peados was hardly invented on Sunday.
That aside, we have got some dire fans and I agree with Middleman and right said father ted about the crap songs that are churned out weekly.

| I thought it was decent atmosphere to be honest and thought most people did their bit in supporting the team. When Rhys Evans scored in the corner to put the game more or less beyond doubt the roar of encouragement that went up for the players was excellent.
Think people are making a mountain out of a mole hill, yes the 'wa**y Warrington' chant is embarrassing, but by far the most embarrassing chant is that 'it's always your year' chant!!!!

| The single most cringeworthy saying in rugby league is "it's the football fans"
Do people honestly beleive everyone who attend a football match is racist / homophobic or what ever. Seriously guys get over it, there can be wrong un's who support rugby and don't have to labeled football fans. Beleive quite a few Leigh fans where in the wrong end if a hiding a few week back. Suppose it must if been the Leeds Unuted fans hey?

I'd have to agree with you Ave It that's it a mountain out of a molehill situation.
The "w***y Warrington" chant is more bemusing than amusing it's that much 'old hat' and the "always your year" thing doesn't really get the heckles up as we've not done too badly lately?
I didn't hear the Hillsborough stuff, but, we obviously get the "you scouse ba****ds a lot which cheeses me off personally as a United fan when it comes to the round ball game, as indeed are many other Warringtonians. It's a split town in this regard and both sides generally rub along ok. BTW we 'sing' the same to Widnes and Saints.
Regarding Wolfie admittedly not PC, but, there is a message on his underpants which sometimes can be quite amusing, at HKR he had the words We are sailing emblazoned across his bottom which got the crowd singing something other than the usual Oh Warry Warry which isn't the most inventive
In short we've all got all sorts in a crowd....apart from Widnes

| There can only have been a tiny minority singing these chants because i was in the away end and heard absolutely nothing. The best part about the chanting was the stick the three warrington idiots(yes, we all have them)got for chanting "what a waste of money" at Chase at the exact moment he produced a moment of brilliance.

| Not being a football fan I don't follow some of this but what I don't get is if these idiots were United fans chanting this wouldn't they be the same ones who would be up in arms if people were chanting things about Munich?
I never understand the logic of slagging the other team off from the stands rather than encouraging your own team, a few hundred bell ends chanting Wanky Wanky Wanky Wanky Warrington or We all hate Leeds scum is hardly going to be uplifting to your own team.

| I've got to say I thought it was pretty funny when the Wire fans were singing "should have bought Swinton, you bought the wrong club"
Funnier than anything we came up with on the day.
