| I'm hoping it has nothing to do with Hock. He's been stand-out so far this year.

| Could it be HANSEN AND MULLANEY? I Don't know its a guess . it could be that HAM or Ham products are no longer being sold at the stadium due to people from Yorkshire being over intimate with them at the farms

| I think the '...and Mullaney' bit could be right. Can't see it being Hansen or Hock. My money is on Howarth?

| I was hoping that any future reshuffle might be an operational one, rather than playing/coaching... If it was to do with marketing, perhaps 'HAM' could mean Hospitality And Marketing?

| Barkers talking e as he usually does. He wants you to talk about him like everyone does about the dr when he speculates on twitter. A proper journo would give you the story.

| Quote ="the red fusilier"M could possibly be Morley or Meli , both on 12 month contracts'"
[iSalford captain Adrian Morley is hoping to celebrate his 37th birthday by helping the Red Devils halt a four-match losing run when they host Hull KR at the AJ Bell Stadium tomorrow evening.
"It would be a nice birthday treat," Morley said. "It's been a while between wins so hopefully we'll get the job done on Saturday."
Salford have dropped out of the top eight following their recent slump to pile the pressure on new coach Iestyn Harris but Morley is confident they can quickly pull away from the relegation zone.
"It's been quite frustrating but I'm sure when we do get the win, spirits will lift and we'll string a few wins together," he said.
"We've not been getting blown away by any means. Most of the games we've been in a position where we could possibly have gone on and won.
"I think confidence is a bit low - losing becomes a habit just as winning does - but I am confident when we do get a win, you will see a different team. Hull KR are in a similar position to us in the table so it's a game we want to be winning."
Meanwhile, Morley has yet to decide if he is to continue his reign as Super League's oldest player.
The former Warrington Wolves captain, who is six months older than Leeds Rhinos prop Jamie Peacock who is playing on in 2015, arrived at Salford in the winter on a 12-month deal and will decide in the next few weeks whether to extend his stay at his home-town club.
"I've spoken very briefly to Iestyn and we've both agreed we're going to wait until later on in the year, probably three quarters of the way through the season," Morley said.
"We'll have a chat then about whether I want to carry on and whether he wants me to but there's no pressure from either side to sort out a deal for next year."[/i

| A major reshuffle according to Mr Barker. This suggests to me at least another 8+ new faces because it's normal for every SL club to change about half a dozen players each year. So for it to be considered major is has to be more than 6 otherwise it would just be considered normal.
The problem is the team so far have been tactically and structurely disorientated and still haven't got the cohesion and developed a good team bond from last years major reshuffle. Surely further wholesale changes in personnel is going to make our shorter-term progression even more difficult isn't it?

Don't be so impatient Bonita. You should know it's going to take at least 5 years before we learn how to tackle properly and show some team spirit and enthusiasm.

In last nights Castleford side there were 6 off-season signings.
International coaches - (bar Noble?),have to succeed by moulding a side from players taken from a whole host of clubs, and do that in a limited timescale.
The same applies in soccer.
Powell at Cas has moulded a team with players lacking international games,Grand Final appearances and a winning culture - in contrast to the squad assembled for our campaign. It can be done - at least to a higher standard than what has been left for Iestyn Harris.

I agree with the majority of what you say, except the last bit which,if I read it right, means that you don't think Harris was left with much.
I think maybe just the odd coach might have been pleased inheriting a squad including Chase Hock Hansen Gleeson Tasi
Sau......need I go on.
Or maybe you didn't mean that ?

| Perhaps Red Devils Paw means Cas players are collectively performing to a higher standard than our players??? Which they have by some considerable distance up until now.
This said I still believe we have the potential to finish the season stronger than the Tigers if our players want it enough.

Where have the outstanding players been? Hock and Hanson I can agree with, maybe Sau, but I can't think that there has been much spark with most of the others. Chase is totally over-rated while Gleeson is over the hill and Tasi is not performing either.. The table tells the story. Too much reliance on players who have too little interest other than their pay packet!
Morley was only ever brought in because of his Salford connection. He is an icon and his experience should be used to enthuse his team- mates, but he spends too much time on the field for a bloke of his age. He has been an outstanding player in his day, but that day has gone and he should be used to provide leadership and experience to players who are either lacking of confidence, or are disinterested.
When the team was put together, I recognised it as the "Misfits". If Noble could have welded that group of players into a team they would have been outstanding and he would have been a genius. Noble didn't meet that objective and Harris has inherited, what I, personally, consider to be a poison chalice. There are too many players with too many personal issues to expect that any coach can actually get them all to perform at the same time.
Harris has taken the task, but why, on this season's performances, anybody thinks that he should be pleased about the squad he has inherited, is more than optimistic.
Moving on, I am led to believe that we have conditioners who are renowned in their field. And yet we see second half melt-downs. SDR seem to me to be a 60 minute side and that needs addressing urgently or the fans, the players and the Doctor will all end up with egg on their faces.

| Mr Barker has a suggestion on his Twitter that Andy Hay is rumoured to be interesting Featherstone Rovers.
One or two posters on their forum also state he is in line for the job - with one poster stating Sean Long is wanted by some of the players.
The announcement by Featherstone is 0930 hrs in the morning.( For the head coach position )

Surely we can't afford to lose our attacking coach. We've been tearing teams apart with silky attacking rugby since his return.

| What's the situation with Tim Smith? Sporting Life saying Fages played after Smith became "unavailable". Strange terminology for picking up an injury or is it something else?

I don't know why he wasn't playing but for reasons best known to themselves the, errm, supporters, have taken to having a 'pop' at him continuously so that must be debilitating to him psychologically.
His replacement Theo was taken out with a late shot and did not reappear for the second half.
Surprised no one mentioned it when discussing the referee 'inconsistencies'.
If only he had a magic hat.
