Schofield drew out 6 which was infact Bradford and instead called it as 9 which was Widnes.

After not giving a drop goal that everyone but Bentham thought went over only RL could go from bad too worse.

Does that mean the entire draw needs to be done again?

So basically the game beforehand needs to be replayed as a blatant drop goal was missed and now the draw needs to be done as if I follow it correctly it should be us playing Bradford at Barton not Widnes. Not sure if playing Bradford would be an easier game.

Wonder if the RFL will fine itself for these cock ups as heavily as they did us for accidentally having 14 players on the pitch for a few seconds.

Obviously,Widnes are affected because they would have had Catalans at home.
Their board says that the RFL won't change it and they seem fairly relaxed

I bet widnes would be kicking up a stink if bradford had drawn , swinton, keighley or sheffield, but because they have got cats there not.

I think the whole draw should be done again live on tele with all the balls having the teams names on them, if i rem rightly salfords number used to be number 21 in the old days when you kept the number you were given season after season.

Besides the drop goal Huddersfield should also have had a penalty for a voluntary tackle right on the hooter.

no one is saying Murphy and schofield are involved in a cover up or conspiracy. I get the idea most people are saying the RFL have cocked up which to be fair happens a lot so it's hardly a scandalous accusation.

To be fair I did tweet this to Martin Saddler when I first saw the report & pictures:
