Don't want to start a new thread, but there seems to be a lot of talk on here regarding parking. I think I am going to come down today for the first time with my 15 months year old son. Can I park in the stadium or not? I dont want to be getting busses carrying a baby. Thanks

If you keep smashing teams in the same manner as you did vs Batley that is a very distinct possibility. I saw enough in the awful conditions at the LSV in pre-season to suggest Leigh will be finish top of the pile this season, however will it be Dewsbury or Sheffield just behind? Should be a competitive league.

Quick question guys and gals, have they changed the signage on the from of the stadium. When I went to training on Sunday last week it still said Salford City reds with their logo?

Team where put through their paces on that Sunday when I saw them training, hope all goes well top 8 this year.

Dave Hadfield,in the latest issue of RLW,states that the club was quoted the princely sum of 18 thousand pounds to remove the Salford City Reds logo.

Bet that's does not include the addition of the Red Devils and also the cost of making 2 signs.

A bit off topic but I've now been to two game's at the stadium where kick off has had to be delayed due to crowd congestion, and they've not even been near capacity now should we start getting 7k on a regular basis are we happy to delay every game?

If it brings bigger crowds, delay away!

On the other hand, I think people will figure they need to get there earlier if it happens more often...You'd hope so anyway.

What was causing the delay on Sunday? Was it people still arriving at the ground, or people at the ground queuing for tickets and to get in?

We cannot keep delaying games and sky will not be receptive to this. Lots of families at the game on Sunday. 8pm on a Thursday is already stretching it if you are bringing young kids. I walked up to the ground at 2pm on Sunday and there was a queue from the a57 to get onto the club car park. Not sure how much earlier we can expect fans to arrive? One of the problems is that the traffic has to be stopped to allow pedestrians access to the stadium. You are not going to have free flowing traffic on the stadium approach.
