Anyone heard anything about how many sold. I know the doc said 2400 a while before christmas. Anyone been able to fins out an updated figure?

i was with the person who deals with season tickets yesterday....and up until xmas eve we had sold 1600.....

That is total bollox! We had 2500 well before Christmas. Martin vickers told my cousin at the stadium we were looking to reach 4000 total including hospitality tickets by after Christmas time. People say but that's including hospitality but it's still a massive chunk of the west stand that's being filled.

Be careful, you almost slipped into Red League meltdown mode there.

I'm not melting down mate, it just irritates me when I've been told how well we're doing on sales and tickets for the Wakefield game, for then someone to come on claiming we've sold hardly anything, do you know vickers expects close to a sell out for the first game, he wouldn't come out with those sort of comments with 1600 season ticket sales.

I'd hope it's the higher figure, though to be fair don't we will sell as many as some think we will purely based on people waiting to see if things really take off with the new squad.

Wouldn't at all be surprised if the club don't market a half season ticket if the start of the season really goes well and the people who are paying game by game too see how things start off can then become part of the family.

I think half season tickets ie Sunday season tickets as well as Friday season tickets would be a great idea! I still think there are plenty of people who will just stick to certain game days/nights and choose to just pay on the day. Half season ticket would be a great way to get people to commit in some way.

When we collected our season tickets at the stadium on the open day ,I did a quick estimate and you could clearly see around 2000 tickets waiting for collection from the trays.

They weren't all the season tickets, I was told to go down to the front reception desk for mine and they pulled out another box full.

Martin vickers has told me on twitter that were above 1600 but we need to do more if we want to get the 12000 sell out we want for the first game.

There are 3583 unavailable west stand seats, the south stand has 2226 unavailable tickets. there are 1960 unavailable in the east stand too so either the seating plan seat picker is broke or 7769 tickets are taken for the first game that's without taking the north stand into account?

great effort by the marketing side if those figures mike87 has worked out are anywhere near the mark , be great to see around 9k at that opening fixture , thank god im in walking distance .

I looked at the Red Devils website and it's all the same on there too. Why would they be unavailable otherwise?

do not believe what martin vickers says... he used to work for the council.. we all know what liars they are.... according to the self named club secretary (tracey) she told me today its close to 1800 now

Recon with hospitality included recon we are probably touching 3k / 3.5know
For people studying the map think the club give 500 or so away to the away team in the east so don't forget to add that to the calculations. .

Because some sections might not be on sale yet.

I'm not saying unavailable definitely means sold out? But why would nearly all the south stand be not for sale when it's standing? And why only put 40 tickets on sale In the east stand? Dr Koukash wants the ground sold out so why would he not put parts of the ground on sale? Doesn't make sense to me?

THE OPTIMIST....... we can understand why you are named that...if you knew anything about salford and the stadium... you would know that we have sold 1800 seaon tickets.. and hospitality holds 700 plus 144 in boxes (if all sold... which are not yet)is 2600.... how does that make 3500... you are the optimist... you simples?

If that is actually a true reflection of what has been sold it means that there are only 24 home standing tickets left for the season (or for pay on the day) for the 2500 capacity stand. I very much doubt that is the case as there are more than 24 on sale at the moment.

Koukash has said 2500 sold to date.
