| I'd go with.
1. Mullaney
2. Johnson
3. Gleeson
4. Sau
5. Meli
6. Chase
7. Smith
8. Puletua
9. Lee
10. Morley
11. Rapira
12. Hock
13. Dixon
14. McPhearson
15. Walton
16. Ashurst
17. Griffin
I know we've been told another 2 will be coming in during the off season but that 17 if it all stays for could push for top 6 in my opinion.

| Wouldn't have Walton in the 17 and Johnson will have to prove he's better than Danny Williams. Perhaps swap Rapira (prop) and Puletua round as well as including Fages/Owen on the bench.

After the performances Williams has had this year butterfingers is the one who will have to prove himself.
Walton is a decent players hense Noble re-signing him.

| Walton is nothing more than a back up/squad player, not big enough to play in the pack and not got the handling skills to be a Super League centre. Decent squad player nevertheless.
I've seen an improvement in Williams since Noble took over, however I still think we've got a new winger to announce.

| Even after the players mentioned above we still have the likes of Davies, Evalds and the Walnes available, not to mention any further signings. Next year is looking good for Salford, that's for sure!
(I'm sure there are a few I've forgotten off the top of my head too).

Of course your right, I think we've got another winger signed but being kept quiet until after the playoffs same goes for another forward but I'm going off what we've got now to choose from, maybe id swap Jason Walton for Adam Walne.

| I agree Williams is just not a solid enough player for me school boys don't make as many errors in a whole season than he does in one game.

| Was Williams crocked yesterday? David Young had a faster turn of pace.
Think Williams will get a starting spot next season and don't know why but think that surrounded by better players he will be more productive. One aspect of our play I've never understood is that Williams and Broughton are real speedsters when fully fit but we never used this to our advantage, early kicks over the top as a planned move would have for me bore fruit.
Also think that one if not both of the Walnes will get regular game time next season and be the next British players who get some attention from Australia.

| As a Saints fan you should be looking to play Meli at centre with Gleason.
You can then use Sau as a backrower.
Meli is too slow now for the wing and has played most of this season at Centre for Saints.
He has been very good at centre due to being a real handful to tackle while also possessing good passing skills.

I think this a bit extreme at the momentt. Lets see how they develop first. I agree Adam is really pushing on and I found it a travesty we released him last year when he ripped the U20's apart.
I also wouldn't class William as a flyer, he runs in hard but hes not that quick, hence he only scores scrappy tries.
I do agree about the kicks over the top, why we have never utilized this more is beyond me. Actually no it doesn't RL is becoming so structured that off th cuff moves are dying out.
Can anyone remember the last time a Salford player chipped over the defence line and chased?

Hes not been bought for his pace, he has been bought for his size. Putting 5ft Sau in the second row is never going to happen

In the last minute against Hull at home. Sneyd chipped over from a scrum in our own half, Jodie caught it and went the length

Sa'u will be one of the best centres over here next year. Why on earth would you want to move him to the back row which would be a position he'!s not familiar with?
Gotba very good feelng about sa"u and gleeson next season, especially playing off smith and chase.

| It will be interesting to see how Smith and Chase work together, 2 very dominant individuals who like to be the leaders and now they find they have to work together. Chase for example playing for England isn't half as effective as Chase being the dominant force at Cas, Im not saying it wont work but I'm interested to see how it will work if you get my drift.

| Chase and Smitj compliment each other perfectly for me. Chase is an off the cuff type who will make things happen, Smith will lead, organise and kick us around the park.
