| I've gone for Theo - think he's more likely to get the young player of the year at the official do, but he's been a revelation this year and certainly surprised me.

| Also gone for Theo. Thrust into the 1st team behind a beaten pack in most weeks. Consistantly shown up well and really deserves a chance in a good team to show what he can do.

| Theo all day long for me. To come into the first team at his age, during the most difficult of circumstances, playing behind a beaten pack week after week, but still turn in performances of such high standard has been nothing short of outstanding. He’s never taken a backwards step, even after the disgraceful challenge at Catalans earlier in the season, he couldn’t wait to get back out onto the pitch and give his all for the cause. He’s worn that Salford shirt with more pride than the vast majority of “superstars” we’ve had here over the last few seasons.
I’m sure if he wins it will be a proud moment for the Bradshaw’s too, who both deserve huge recognition for the manner in which they helped Theo settle in Salford and make the transition of moving countries for such a young lad as smooth as possible.

| Andrew Dixon for me. He's been the most consistent performer all year, and his work rate has been superb. He's also the only forward in Super League to have played every minute of every Super League game all season.

| Errrr.. Godwin for me. Always gives 110% which is more than can be said for the majority of our current squad.

| The obvious choice would be Theo, but I think andrew Dixon and Wayne Godwin deserve a mention. However, I've gone for a player who has been a bit under the radar this year, but hasn't done much wrong and deserves to have at least one vote: Jordan James.

| I'm not admitting to voting for Liam Foran.
My vote went to young Theo. He's had a great year after being clobbered in the south of France. You have to mention Andrew Dixon's efforts though as he's been exceptional as well in a team that's been on the back foot all year.

| I had an idea Dixon would be favourite, but a bit like Luke Swain winning it 2009, more reflective of the season Salford have had. Well done to the lad nonetheless.

A few years ago for Lancashire's player of the year vote, may have been the first year we were relegated, there was no obvious choice of POTY so a large chunk of people voted for Lanky the Giraffe. For some reason, the club refused to count the votes and future votes used a tick-box system rather than just writing the name of your choice on a piece of paper...
