Monday 3rd June F/Reds will hold an AGM for all Forever Reds members prior to an open meeting for anyone to attend.

The AGM will take place in the press room at Salford Stadium at 7-30pm prompt for members of F/Reds.

As soon as Trust matters are sorted, the meeting will then move into the Fans bar for an open meeting of Q/As with Marwan Koukash, at 8pm.
Paul Highton will also be present as the players representative on F/Reds board.

There will be a prize for the oldest replica shirt worn on the night + a raffle.

There will also be a sale of some past memorabilia, any reasonable offer will be accepted!!, we even have a Paul Carrige shirt..........

There may be some new Salford tops available to buy or samples for people to order ie....
Zipped hoodies
Various t/shirts
Jogging bottoms
Jogging shorts

Anyone can join F/Reds on the night, just fill in a membership form, cost is £10 adults £5 juniors.

I'll be in dock abroad by tomorrow night or this is one I'd have been at.

Can someone ask if there are moves afoot to rejuvenate the customer service and marketing sides of the business? and if the Doc plans to bring in someone to run this aspect of the club with a sound business background rather than from RL?

Also I'm sure it's already on someones list but is there any progress on the Docs desire to buy into the stadium and getting the club training at Barton rather than in Leigh.

I'd be interested to hear an update about our Football Director Graham Lowe. I appreciate he's based in New Zealand but I would have expected to have heard or read some news about his contribution over the past 2-3 months. I imagine he's doing some scouting and negotiating with NRL agents but it would be good to get some confirmation on this.

It would also like to know who is ultimately responsible for player recruitment. Is it Lowe, Noble or a joint decision?

Furthermore some background on our other NZ Director Andrew Chalmers and his contribution would be interesting to know.

Could someone also ask the Doctor if there is any substance in the story reported by Steve Kilgallon a few weeks ago in the Rugby League World magazine. It suggested Salford may be being bankrolled by a Belgian-based millionaire who had previously supported an unsuccessful NRL franchise application in New Zealand?

He covered a whole range of topics and with regard to signings and other announcements,the date for your diary is 9th August.The location is the Fans Bar and the purpose is to defeat Leeds on the pitch and have some optimism for 2014 when Dr Koukash adds the meat to the bones with regard to the speculation and the player recruitment.
I think most people left more heartened and enlightened than when they arrived when looking short term,mid-term and longer term.
I have always admired the rare individual who has the ability to mix with kings and paupers and treat them just the same.

Other info from F/reds meeting, but just to say, it isn't a clique or anything, just I havnt had the time to write up all the info.

Marwan started by apologising for the bottle incident report after the game on the radio, saying he had been badly mis- informed & he intending to apologise to everyone concerned,which he has now done & hopefully that is the end of the matter.

Asked if he was on target for recruitment, ....... Hopefully, tried to bring players in but because of contracts found it impossible, so will have to play on with the players we have.
Targeted around 10 players, 4 already signed, won't reveal names, but said some were playing tonight(Monday) .

What young ones in the squad have caught your eye? A few of them particularly Sneyd, Theo, Adam to name some, & hopes they are the start of a long line of our home produced players in future.

What of the salary cap? Should get extra money for home grown, or don't count part of their salary on the cap, well documented that he doesn't think 1.8 mill cap is enough to allow to get the team he wants.

Asked re ownership of the stadium? Club needs long term stability so to do that need ownership, will take time but will happen.

Asked about accessibility for purchase of tickets, ............ Said hopefully there will be around 12 outlets to buy tickets, ie, Trafford centre, Salford precinct, Lowry outlet & hopefully in supermarkets to name some.

Shop, merchandise etc? Hopefully, shop will change, in the mean time, there is plans to have a couple of hubs outside the fans bar area ( like Canterbury had) to sell merchandise as the situation at present is unacceptable.

Website? That will be revamped

9th August, Leeds home game, new players to be announced, new kit branding etc.
It's going to be a long journey to get to where we want to be, fans need to stay strong with us,it will happen.

After 4 months what changes do you envisage happening?
Ed Farish is moving back to Australia, with a new CEO coming in, who has been a manager for 20 years at a blue chip company. He doesn't have a rugby background, but a very sound business background & Brian Noble will be in charge of rugby business.

Training facilities? ........ Presently at Leigh, but not for much longer, a gym building in space under east stand until a high performance gym & centre of excellence is built in surrounding area of stadium.

Debt with the council? ......... Left with a previous debt, but need to spend money on the team,

Player recruitment?......... Present players have been informed it was a clean sheet when Brian came in, all need to show they want to be here, only players who want to be here 100%, they have to play for their futures, some probably know they won't be here & others know they have a chance.

What's Graham Lowe & Andrew Chalmers roles, are they still involved? .......... Graham has been trying to source players in Aus & Andrew was back over at MM weekend. They are mates & we chat & they advise me.

Why do players always KO to same spot? .......... Most teams do the same, aim to keep the opposition as far back in their half, when you are on the back foot as we was on Sunday, it doesn't help, but it's also what foot the kicker uses .(answered by Highto)

Sponsors for next year? ......... Talking to business people to try & get everything sponsored,

The road/ access? ........ The new road will be finished in 2014 will make it easier.

The new CEO replacement will be over hauling all aspects of the admin, everyone will be giving a chance.

Forever Reds AGM also took place , the board members were re-elected + a new member was elected on to the board, Kevin Morley, welcome to the Forever Reds board.
The Audit amendment was passed unanimously & the 2012 accounts were available to see.

Probably someone who watched a red and white tidal wave followed by a primrose and blue tidal wave.
The same person who may prefer to see NO REPEAT restarts but would much prefer the ball to bounce in-field aimed towards Fox which then bounces over the head of Fox on Monday night.This will result in TT and Justin Poore spending a little time bent in a scrum,in preference to rampaging towards our line.
