| Is it me or do you think it was wise offering Mcpherson an extended contract.
Although I have been impressed when he has played, however in the time he has been at the club he has spent more time on the treatment table than on the pitch.
I am not against extending his contract but only when he as proved he can play at least a couple of game back to back.
We desperately need some quality in the forwards not in the treatment room.

| It does appear a strange decision to me. He's a decent player when he's on the park but considering he's only played in 19 of 41 (46%) Super league matches since he's been here it's nowhere near enough.

| Could it be that if the the pack is strengthened then there might be a little less pressure on McPherson and he may then prove a bit more resilient?

| I am pleased he is being given the correct amount of time to rest and recuperate, unlike last year when he was thrown back out obviously still some way from being 100% and appearing as a semi-mobile mummy.
He should be praised for remaining loyal after his earlier experience at Crusaders as they slid into oblivion.

| I suspect its been the same injury continuing to give him problems and I hope he's now having it properly fixed.
I don't think it's a succession of different injuries

| He's still got next Season as a quota exempt player, along with it was Noble who signed him at Crusaders . Probaly why he's got a new contract.

| I know some signings are done some considerable time in advance of when they are announced but I think in this instance Brian Noble had left the Crusaders and it was Harris who signed him.
