| Hopefully Sneyd, Broughton and Jewitt to follow.
I'd give Godwin and Gibson at least another year as well.

| I'd say Sneyd - Broughton and Owen first , then Evalds , Then secure loan Players Griffin & Gaskell .

I agree with all except Gibson, he bottles out of too many one on one tackles. Which I think is down to his lack of commitment.

I'm not saying he should be regularly starting but he offers depth at both wing and centre, has a good try scoring record and is still only 26.

| Good news. Hopefully Broughton, Jewitt, Sneyd, Godwin and Gibson all will get contracts. Gaskell and Griffin should both get permanent deals aswell IMO.
Is Danny Williams contracted for next year?

| Not sure about McPhearson signing but if we can get him fit for a period of time then yes. Hopefully Jewitt,Jodie,Sneyd and Griffin. I'd let Gibson Go as hes not good enough and Danny Williams but i think he has another year. Gaskill I would rather wait and see first as we haven't seen enough yet. Godwin is teh difficult one, I'd wait and see how he goes until the end of the year as his age and who we would be looking to brin in is going to be important. Oh and I for got Evald and Walne which are obviously all yes. All the lads from the academy who are coming through should be kept on as they all look good and bring a bit of pride back to the shirt

| I'm afraid that a number of players mentioned above will probably not be with us next year. If we do bring in the 10 to 15 new players as mentioned, then we will need to shed some players to bring the squad size down and also to keep within salary cap. I know we all have our favourites, and players we feel should stay, but one of the bi-products of change is the casualties who will fall by the wayside. Hard I know, but this is professional sport, and this s how the system works. Forget sentiment, it never won anything, tough decisions are needed, and I am sure they will unfold over the coming months

| We need to get Broughton signed up as soon as possible even more so now with the news that Pat Richards is heading back to the NRL from the Pies.

There is no doubting his try scoring ability, but Evalds and Ford should offer better value for money. I just can't get my head past how many times I've seen people run straight over the top of him.

Very true post, Wild has worked tirelessly, but I would expect he's on more than his performance warrants. Also, I heard what Nero was offered to join us, if true that really doesn't offer value for money, so he's got to go. We're going to have to lose a few players that we might want to keep, but Nero's and Wild's wages could be much better spent.

| Would want to keep either of them, we have carried them this season and to be fair for the last part of last season as well. Legs have gone and need to either retire or be shipped out

Good point, see where you're coming from.
Out of the off contract players I can't imagine Wild, Nero or Jordan James being here next season to start with.

McPherson fit is far & away the best forward we have at present ,a no nonsense grafter , we played him jabbed up most of last season , now he's had a clean up op , hopefully we'll get the best out of him , half fit on one leg he's an improvement on Mauro.
Gleeson re-signing puts to bed any impression Long going has unsettled him , he'll now be one of Noble's ' Silverbacks ' , experienced players on side to enforce the Noble way of doing things.
I'm sure they'll be talking to Gaskell & Griffin . Broughton- Evalds -Sneyd are no brainers.
Gibson is a bit like Littler , every season we think we can do better , but he always plays his way back into contention and is usually amongst our top try scorers. injury prone but too useful to discard .
the rest ? and I include our current Manly players , Jewitt and other players OOC , unless they pull their tripe out and / or buy into the Noble way , they'll be expendable I guess.

We still haven't seen enough of Mauro to comment what he is actually like as a player. However, looking at the condition he arrived in, you'd have to say that, maybe, he lacks some professionalism.
As for Gibson/Littler, how dare you. Whilst I was never Littler's biggest fan, what he lacked technical ability and skill, he made up for in determination and commitment. Gibson on the other hand, his footwork, balance and ability to read the game is fantastic, but he completely lacks that steely determination Littler had in abundance. But yes, in the way you mentioned he is like Littler
