Looks like our new mascot's finally arrived! Although the costume is open to debate, I think it's great they're re-launching the Junior Devils club.

It looks like a Sesame Street reject. Excellent that they are relaunching Junior Devils but why not put some effort into a Club Mascot

Think that will appeal to the younger kids- anything is better than the Gay Power Ranger.

You'll never please everyone I guess if the kids like it that's all that matters in the long run.

Good work from the club to get the junior devils back, dodgy mascot but who cares good the club are marketing our proper nickname again.

Are you people never happy unless you're criticising the club? You complain that we've not got no association with the Devil anymore. We get a Devil and you're still complaining! The mascot is for the kids and it's not as if the club can go and copy Manchester United's mascot. For what it's worth, I think looks more child friendly and appealing than Ignito, so if it helps bring the kids in then what's to complain about? Maybe the club could think about launching new merchandise with the new mascots image, such as stuffed toys for kids, mugs, keyrings etc... Also I think it's great the club have reintroduced the Junior Devils scheme. Well done to the club I say.

It is pathetic if you ask me. It has been done on the cheep with no though or no real marketing potentioal behind it. We should have had two mascots like other clubs have, one for the real young ones and one for the familys (and to win the magic mascot competition

We've got a cuddly mascot like all the other clubs,
I remember going to Trafford centre for a Super league launch, us and Catalan only clubs not represented with mascots

It's always going to be tough for us mascot-wise, it's not as obvious as say a wolf, rhino, tiger etc. But I suppose if the kids like him/it, then that's all that matters. It's not going to be me at the edge of the pitch giving him high 5s and getting pictures or whatever. Hopefully the Junior Devils thing as a whole will have some decent schemes to get the kids and their parents interested in Salford. Ideally, I think this sorta thing should've been done before the season started - a big build up to the new stadoum. Better late than never though.

I don't understand why some people are negative about a mascot. It's for the kids. It does not matter for the rest of us.

Junior Devils coming back is great, the kids have a gimp in a costume. All is well.

Can anyone offer a decent explanation as to why the club ever thought it was a good idea NOT to run the Junior Devils club?

Lack of interest I would guess.
