Can't believe so many of you have Patten in the top three. He's the worst defensive full back who's ever played for us.

10th place at this point is actually better than I predicted, I honestly thought we'd be battling Widnes for the wooden spoon.

Biggest Disappointment(s) Crowds, Our halfbacks are lacking something special that the best halves have, consistent quality. Holdsworth's Goalkicking, Not getting the ball to Broughton enough in space. Pack still getting dominated too easily year after year. Our right side defence. No Sheikh forthcoming to buy some real gems. With the exception of Hull we generally lose the close one's by being out enthused.

Most Positive(s) U20's great form, Vievers being able to replace some high earning crocked players at the end of the year. Gledhill looked a promising signing before injury. Sale moving in and sharing the costs and helping the clubs finances. General fitness seems to have improved. Patten's honesty in retiring early rather than struggling through next year for his big contract. Theo Fages signing a 5-year contract. Playing a more expansive game.

Funniest thing was at the Cas opening game a guy in shorts and new home shirt shivering so hard he spilled beer.
