Seems like the attendances have been quite poor for most CC matches this season. Lot of empty seats at Warrington yesterday.

We only applaud good effort because we hardly ever see it. A good effort should be displayed every week full stop.

Attendance (or non attendance) in the last 2 games is a major cause for concern for the club. Shame we couldnt compete like that in the league game when there was a good turn out.

We are carrying a couple of players and that was the difference between winning and losing today. Half way through the second half I really felt like we were going to win it. We defended very well particularly in the first half and Pattens tackle one on one when he came away with the ball was outstanding.

Great effort, might have won if we had a crowd to get behind us?

My first visit to the COSS today and I have to say I was disappointed. Far too much out on a limb and not exactly an experience that makes you want to come back again. It needs a Tescos on the site to make it more of a modern RL ground for me. Such a shame you're still not at the Willows. Far better. Oh, and unlucky today chaps. Played very well.

I must have missed couple of rule changes that firstly allows a full back to continually run behind his own players to prevent the opposition tackling him as Webb did on many occasions yesterday, when did the RFL pass the law that said the ref didn't have to stop the clock when a try is scored wasting well over 2 minutes as was the case when Leeds scored the final try and on one occasion Leeds rushed to form the scrum to stop the clock but clearly only had 5 in it yet the Granny beater stopped it yet towards the end when we were trying to do the same said Granny beater just kept shacking his head until another player arrived.

Not Gansons fault we got beat as frankly we played stupid rugby in the 2nd half and didn't use the conditions to our advantage, why we felt the need to be kind enough to always find the man with field kicks rather than going for the scrum and keeping a more structured defence near thier line bemused me and what on earth was Smith thinking in the dying seconds not hoisting the ball mail mary style rather than trying to kick down the line and ultimately kicking it dead.

I think we missed two glorious opportunities in the second half with scrums near the Leeds line on our right side - the Leeds defence all moved to their right, I'm sure a quick pick up and scoot by the loose forward on the blind side could have paid off on both occasions, just can't understand why we didn't try that - instead both times we went left passed along the line and got snuffed out by a very strong Leeds defence.
