A credit to your club i thought, supported your team throughout and were more vocal than we were, which wasn't very hard! Not many, 435 i believe but vocal and passionate.

Its a shame huddersfield dont get as many fans as they do, there a class team. As for yesterday, we did only bring 435 but thats quite alot for a salford away game. I dont know why more people dont travel to away games, i know most of the time we play awful and its quite £££££.

Maybe because the club don't activily promote away games? I think they may of had something on the website this week mentioning how the club get a % of away tickets sold by the club. Also a quick glance at the facebook page, someone asked if the club was doing away travel, reply was coach was sold out. Now from previous experience are they still using that large mini bus? Refuse to call it a coach, also if one was sold why not be optimistic and advertise another coach going on sale, not only does it inform people, also it would give a feel good vibe and people maybe inclined to jump on the so called band wagon.

Maybe the club don't market the away travel so much because of lack of interest for many years. As for the numbers that go away I would expect the vast majority are season ticket holders that go every home game and are more than capable of finding out fixtures for themselves. Don't see that the club can do much more than at present.

Also, the guys in the Vulcan last night - looked like you were enjoying yourselves if any of you are on here !

Cheers. Was hoping a few more would have made the trip but our away following has dwindled in recent years for a variety of reasons.

The club should at the very least mention away games on the website due to the fact we get 10% of the ticket sales but we've got big enough problems promoting home games to worry about pushing away ones.

we have the same problems despite improving on and off the field the last few years, people dont want to come there's not much more clubs can do apart from offer them free entry every other game.

We could all drop the price of season tickets, have mad offers and totally forget that this is actually a business as well as a sport.... Oh hang on didn't Bradford do that?

I was surprised at the attendance of over 6k - the hospitality must have sold well.

Looks like the usual area for away supporters at Wakefield may be altered after their altercation with Cas fans.
