It's Green so I definaly won't be buying one.

Waiting for the new shop to open and g my season ticket to g the discount on the new one still.

Lime green like Canberra Raiders I heard.

I quite like it. Reason for the colour is e though.

Seeing as I can't usually be bothered to post on the Turkey atm due to the depressing amounts of diarrhoea splatted liberally through every thread. Imagine my delight at having found a thread that the lobotomised have yet to spew their rancid juices all over.

That Giants one is a crime against humanity. Quite like the green of ours. Nicest one we've had for a while.

Ohh dear that Huddersfield away shirt looks hideous, paintballing anyone?

I suppose it's a change from either White, Black or Navy. It's what I'd consider a summer colour like you would see on a polo shirt. Perhaps that's the clubs thinking.. summer colour for summer rugby? Or maybe it's to tie in with the stadium marketing/website colour.

What possible connection does Salford have with green?

Always think our best away option is a black and red mix or just plain simple black, christ think I'd rather wear another teams colours than Salfords in green.

The stadium management company's colour is green.

And that has any bareing on the away shirts colour in what way?

Could see it if they were the main sponsors, but don't see why that should have any baring, pity as I really like the design this season and thought that in black with the shoulder flashes and piping in red it would have looked brilliant.

Despite having zero connection with the club or city's history I reckon it's a pretty decent looking shirt. In my opinion we should have bitten the bullet and gone for blue - at least then the stadium would be the colours that we play in.

It does make the tweet from the official stadium twitter feed sound a bit stupid when they where questioned about the blue seats and replied with something about us maybe having new kit colours and a wink.

Salford have had green in their away kits on at least two previous occasions. Don't know why but I suppose the doors have already been kicked open.

I personally like it and I think the colour could be more appealing to both genders and younger fans. It's brighter, fresher and less drab than previous efforts.

Its hideous, another reason to have no pride in the shirt!

I wouldn't consider it hideous but I can understand that the colour may not appeal to some people in their advanced years where there is a few generation gaps in fashion ideals. However, if you consider all the top leisure designers like Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Tommy Hillfiger, etc all have polo shirts in this colour, the colour must sell.

Green has never been my favourite colour and our previous green shirts have been pretty dire (dark green ESAB shirt with dodgy lightning bolts springs to mind) but this is awful. The only reason I can see why we have gone for it is because the opposition will be too busy laughing or puking at it to stop us scoring a couple of quick tries



Quite liked the rumour of the purple shirt (ala Melbourne Storm?) that was going around so now feel a bit disappointed

i think it looks smart. Will certainly be purchasing one.

Just seen Huddersfield's effort and suddenly ours doesn't look so bad lol

To be honest even the Hudds away one is light years ahead of that effort.
