| Could have something to do with a family member of Mr Schofield being released by Salford's academy a few years ago. It's common knowledge he holds a grudge against Salford, he was the one a couple of years ago predicting we wouldn't win a game all year.  |

Schofield's paragraph was under the sub-heading 'Worst Appointment Of The Season'.
It was the last of a collection of his thoughts on the previous campaign.
He gave an opinion on Matt Parish and concluded by writing '.....showed that Salford should have looked much closer to home in the first place'.

If they are still friends I would be loath to criticise Schofield - but the temptation shall always remain.

it's been the question on many peoples lips for a long time... Expect those select view on this website who think all is rosey at SCR and Simms has done a great job for years... We all know the view shared by those select few reflect the 'HOLE' of the SCR fans.....
