Evening all hope everyone is well and in good form. Just wanted ask your thoughts on why mcrae was given so much money last year and yet so far the poor lad parish seems to have to beg steal or borrow players this year. Moon looks half decent out the three players signed but when you think big ray is going back then surely that must free up some doe. Why is the first season in our new ground going to be about how well parish can organise and motivate an average squad.....just don't get it at all. This isn't supposed to be negative.....just puzzled!

I feel the club gambled on mcrae being able to coach a better quality of player so they threw some good money at him being the last season @ the willows and wanting to give it a big send off.

Unfortunately the plan of playoff season just didn't quite materiase and I presume they is a short fall, which leaves MP wheeler dealing to get certain players in and certain players out.

The new stadium will help and I expect an increase in attendances short term

What annoys me is listening to mcrae talk the club didn't give him enough money, but the money he got he squanded on signing people who physically were not upto superleague week after week.

I feel MP and PV know enough about the game to get the right people at the right price rather than the wrong people at a insanely high price like SM and SS seem to have done in the recent past.

To get back to the original post, yes I am slightly concerned, but
When has it been any different. If I can watch a team that has pride in the shirt and puts in performances then I don’t care about the results.

Sorry but why would that matter, McRae has gone to Hull to the same job as your favorite person, Simms, not as a head coach. Besides that if Hull can't do any better than us in their signings then they must have done badly as they'll have a full salary cap to spend that Simms / Parish wont.

I'm sure MP will inspire our players to another level with his new approach and coaching, im sure the money will come eventuality it will be seen as a reward for all his and the teams efforts.

Would be pleased to hear of us recruiting anybody at the moment. I'm sick of reading about all the other SL clubs making signings left, right and centre.
