I have just read on bbc website that they have suspended 7 players. Will that inhibit them playing matches I wonder as I think they have a small squad so will they be able to field a team. Seems like another crisis at welsh club just before franchise. I question weather they deserve franchise something seems not quite right to suspend that many players. Will they get the franchise and if so will they deserve there place in super league. Any opinions

The way I read it, is that it's an internal discipline problem which has warranted suspension. The fact that it's 7 players is irrespective and the Club will have plenty of young lads ready to bleed for the cause now that they will get a chance. It has no bearing on franchise application as a Club's responsibility does not stretch to having direct mind control of players. Was it Wigan's fault that Hock was on drugs? Is it HKR's fault that Cockayne is a knobber? Should events out of Clubs control have consequences for franchises?

The answer is obviously no.

I thinking more on them being more because of position in the league and administration and that it don't help have a lot of hill disapline can't help the clubs poisstition. That have had problems but I see what your saying I was wondering really weather the disapine sort of having effect on there season and it was just a thought if they finished bottom which looks likely weather these incidents would have effect on the franchise just as a topic of conversation I was just wondering what peoples opinion to see if people think it would be looked at franchise disition. Crusaders are protected as are Quins and Catalans (although why Catalans needs protecting is beyond me) as part of the expansion area teams. They could lose all their games move(again) to Barry Island or bring in Max Boyce as coach and they would not get kicked out. Added to the fact that they owe the RFL a shed load of money. This means they are here to stay and we had all better get used to it.
