The end of July is looking to be decision time for an awful lot :-
26th July - Franchise awarded for 2012-2014
28th July - Possible arrival of Parish
29th July -Leeds home game ( Depending on performances against the Hulls ) a win is essential to keep top 8 hopes alive .
the Ratchford saga continues and todays MEN ' speculates ' he will delay his future until the new coach arrives

What are peoples gut feeling about the Licence for next season, with Widnes coming up 1 SL club will be relegated, With the improvements on the pitch and the new Stadium I just can't imagine that Salford would be in any danger..

Halifax have also applied for a franchise, so if they are successful 2 of the current SL clubs will lose their licences. Everyone thinks that Wakefield are favourites for the drop but if another team went with them Salford are in the mix. |

With all the fuss that JW went to, to get the right Coach. The Stadium well into the building phase, and a strong financial aspect I can't see us being in the mix. I'm thinking that 1 up, 1 down will be the end of the discussion, even though bringing Fax into it would be beneficial. Who knows what craziness the RFL might come out with?

I'm a tad nervous about the franchise me. Despite the new stadium being well under way, and the new coach etc, you just never know what the RFL are going to do. I won't be happy until we've been announced on franchise day.

I don't think Halifax can get into Super League now. The descision between the lower division clubs has been settled with Widnes coming up. |

They are still considering Halifax. Whether they have any intention of putting them in is another matter. |
