A new coach this season is unlikely.

We can't appoint a new coach because McRae may decide to come back! Is this for real? So in reality we've written this season off after 3 games to go with the last 2 years we've written off. The club should have just said come back when Barton is ready.

A few people in the terraces seem to think over the past 8 years that you have been detrimental to the club in some way or the other, whether it be signing of players or interfering with the head coaches that we have had! I don't work within in the club so I don't know but how would you answer these critics?

How do we know it's even him? Looking at some of the spelling errors I think it might be Bobby!!

It seems that Mr Simms or Mr Baker hand picked the questions he answered, all in all a waste of time as he never covered any of the reasons why your team is performing so badly despite the investment in the team at the start of the season.
I guess that's diplomacy at work.!!

Makes you wonder why Simms didn't use the oppertunity to announce about SM going. Would have been a decent idea for a timed press release of the official site and Simms being live on the MEN.

I didn't expect that Simms or the club as a whole would allow any probing questions from the fans, more I suspected it was an exercise in fire control after recent issues have arisen.

Just read the transcript and I have to say that there is nothing in there that you wouldn't have expected. Though I do think that as I have said many times Simms has nothing to do with the players we buy, as he says he gets a list for the coach and then it is up ti him to pick who he wants.
Doubt simms will go at the end of this season as you do get the impression that he does more work behind the scenes than we give him credit for.
