| Right let's hope Saturday was a one off and we put a performance in at Cas full of energy, passion and the flair that we saw against KR and Les Cats. We'll be big underdogs after this weekend so hopefully the players will play with a bit of freedom and perform like we know they can.
So who's going? Tickets are £18 I believe so with 2 London trips booked this month I'll be doing it on the cheap. Anyone know the score with the club coaches?

| Can't you get cheaper tickets from your club instead of paying £18 when you come to Cas ?

Nothing on club website mate so no idea. Will have to try & ring the club shop. Where's decent for a pint near the ground? (I'm a cider drinker btw!)

| Try the pub across from the ground and you'll be fine or try inside the ground too. I'm not sure if we sell cider ( are you from Somerset ? ).

| Does the Early Bath serve real ale?
On a rugby note, I have been considering the game last Sat and am seriously concerned that any club now will peceive us of unwilling to engage in an arm-wrestle. Without that grit, we will be pushed into styles of play that will stop us playing with the open flair we can: players like Smith will be rushed into poor kicking, Ratchford will be marked out of the game, and Patten targetted so he lobs passes. Cas are very capable of this.

I am not sure if the Early Bath serves real ale as I've not been in for a while.

| £18 are the cheaper tickets from the club. Its £20 I believe to get in on the day down the lane.
The Glassblower in the town centre (15 mins walk from the ground) is the best place to drink before the game if you're wanting real ale as its a Wetherspoon (which is cheaper also, so everyones a winner).

| Lets hope we turn up on Sunday and really give Cas a game, Last weeks performance we all agree wasn't up to scratch but I was upset to see a select few people giving the players shi!t when the week before they were up there rear end. Lets put that behind us and go into the Cas game with a positive attitude otherwise we are chasing the game before it starts. Apart from Crusaders who are our bogey team we have only been beat of Wigan,Saints,Leeds, some would agree that's not the easiest of starts! There is still an awful long way to go in the season and I think with the right attitude we can still make the top 8. I just hope the players don't let us down as for many years Salford have done. Come on Red Men!!

| Hopefully the Crusaders game was just another blip and we can get back to maybe not winnings ways against Cas because they've been superb this season, but hopefully we can put in a good performance and then take that into the Bradford at home game, which for me is a must win if we want to have any chance of breaking into the play offs. Not heard anything on Sean Gleeson, but his injury didn't look too clever so I'm presuming that he will be out again hopefully Ashley Gibson will be ok and that will just be a straight swap.
The thing I didn't understand against Crusaders was why we dropped a halfback Mark Sneyd who's been playing well IMO and adds something different to the team when he comes on, for a second rower who's been out injured all season and is clearly not match fit? Totally baffled me did that, Anderson needs a few games in the U20's to get anywhere near match fit, he was shoddy against Crusaders dropped the ball a number of times and was at fault for the Gareth Thomas try, he fell hook line and sinker for the dummy then couldn't get back into position leaving Holdsworth with far too much to do.
I like having Sneyd on the bench it signals our intent of what sort of game we're going to play, an expansive game as at time we have 4 halfbacks on the field Holdsworth, Smith, Ratchford and Sneyd and the last few weeks it has worked a treat for us. For some reason though (maybe his name/the amount we're paying him) we decide to bring Anderson onto the bench, which means we were going to have to play a more direct game plan, which lets face it we never win when we play up the middle. Not slagging Anderson far from it as there's no doubting his class, but for me he's been thrown back in a little too early.
FWIW I'd go with the following against Cas:
1. Patten
2. Gibson
3. Henry
4. Ratchford
5. Broughton
6. Smith
7. Holdsworth
8. Cashmere
9. Godwin
10. Boyle
11. Nero
12. Adamson
13. Wild
14. Sneyd
15. Sidlow
16. Jewitt
17. Neal

How is Lance (Boyle) going these days? He worked hard at Cas. Not the biggest but gave it his all. Good to see Godwin again too.
