| I phoned the club shop today to arrange to buy my season ticket and not only did they speak to me like a piece of crap that they couldn't be bothered talking to but they also told me "wer'e busy at the moment give us your number and i'll give you a call back in 10 mins," mind you this was 10:00 in the morning they still havn't bothered to call back, what don't they want people through the turnstyles? Fecking load of amatures!

As much as I fully appreciate the day to day difficulties the club shop/ticketing team face, by and large the result of limited training and a lack of staff, I feel I must point out that in comparison to many other Super League clubs (let alone sports clubs per-se), the quality of service at the club shop occasionally leaves a lot to be desired. Like I suggest, not neccesarily the fault of the staff but perhaps the result of trying to run a business on a very tight budget. Once we've evolved into our new entity, one should hope that the customer service should improve with it.
Nevertheless, the strides many other departments have made, in particular the marketing department with regards to the recent relaeases of promotional video material is worthy of note and merit.

Our club is being run on a tight budget , alot of the budget will be out on the field next season not behind the counter.

Listen if you were treated in the same way you lot would be angry too, god if i didnt love this club id of not bothered with a season ticket out of protest, god help new fans being palmed off in the future, we'd never get attendances up.

| Well I have renewed my season ticket, Steve O rang me to ask if i had received my renewel pack, unfortunately i am still waiting, now I don't blame the club for this, I have had a number of occasions when credit card bills have not arrived, including a 12 quid latement fee due to it, but the post in Swinton does seem to go missing more than it ever did when I lived in Langworthy.
Anyway I was very happy with the service I got from the club, Steve even offered to put the shirt in the post, i said I would pick it up, didn't want it keeping some postie warm in the winter.

Bet you've never been too busy to deal with something or forgotten to call someone back, ever thought they may have taken your number down wrong?
People will tell you on here I'm usually last to back things up that the club do well but one thing I cant abide is moaning customers, I have to deal with them all day and some people should take a reality check! Especially the ones who dont like the truth.

And that approach, in my estimation is too far the other way.
How about about a more balanced approach peeps. Accept and acknowledge the difficulties involved with running the club shop and ticketing departments and encourage the club to improve as much as they can in order to make as many sales as possible. No need for amateur (is this the correct spelling?) dramatics just a polite, positive and constructive conversation.

| got my season ticket today, they were great on the phone, they made me hold for a minute but i could hear they had a full shop so i didn't mind, spoke to a really nice dude paid over the phone, sent a photo by email and bingo, done
