| 1 definite and 1 potential clash with England at the World Cup in 2010.
To try and maximise the attendances, would we be best switching 2 fixtures to a Sunday?
Friday 18 June England v Algeria (7:30pm kick-off)
Friday 18 June Salford v Castleford (8pm)
Sunday 20th World Cup fixtures -
Slovakia v Paraguay (12.30pm)
Italy v New Zealand (3pm)
Brazil v Ivory Coast (7pm)
On Friday 2nd July, Salford are due to play Harlequins at The Willows
If England win Group C and then the 2nd round match, the Quarter Final is on Friday 2nd July at 7.30pm
If England are 2nd in Group C and win the 2nd round match, the Quarter Final is Saturday 3rd July
No World Cup fixtures Sunday 4th July

| It’s a common sense switch. However, one thing to bear in mind is that Salford’s last three home matches are all on a Sunday afternoon too. Five matches on a Sunday might peeve a fair few season ticket holders.

| What about the Salford clashes with Argentina for the non conformists among the Turkey dwellers
As for the first game a change to sunday would be great as I'm in Paris that night finishing off my London 2 Paris bike ride. If it was on the Sunday I'd be able to go to the game

| Unfortunately this will have to be agreed with the RFL and also the visiting team.
As the RFL have no common sense they will probably say no and then be very surprised when hardly anyone turns up for for the game.
It is bad enough when a United game clashes

| Lets hope that England get knocked out at the earliest oppertunity.
For people like myself the hype is already getting to intollerable levels fukk knows what it will be like by next summer.
And as for fixture clashes i'd rather get stuck in room with no ear plugs with some of you lot than watch a game of faggotball.

Sorry I forgot
Rule 1 - to be a patriot I have to support a bunch of over-paid brain-dead drop-outs as they wear white and only turn up as they are getting a surgeon's weekly wage per day.
Sorry.

And the rest?!
Will still cheer them on though - love RL but football is a close second for me.
Can understand people not liking football (or RU, or any other sports for that matter) but can't understand the need to be so aggressively derogatory about it?!

| personally I hate football, more the fact that people in the army like my little brother get sent to afghanistan and risks his life to earn a year what a footballer earns in a day for rolling around on the floor pretending they've been fouled in order to get a free kick or penalty. It verges on disgusting to me, I hope that should RL get as popular it doesn't get as prima donna-ry.

| Since Cas play their games on a Sunday I think they would be agreeable. I have a friend from Cas who I met at Uni many moons ago and he can never make Friday games because of work so it will be a plus for him (and me cos we meet up for a pint when our teams do battle!)
I also think that sundays are better for young kids (of which I have one). Friday nights are quite late for them with an 8pm KO and he sometimes falls asleep before the end of the match (as do I depending on the quality of our display )

| Whilst I appreciate not everyone is a football fan, there are a lot of fans of both and there will be quite a few people who may choose to watch this 1-every-4-years event over Salford v Cas and/ or Salford v Quins. (not just Salford fans but those of Cas & Quins who given the choice of watching England at home on tv or travelling to Salford may choose the former)
Given this would a switch to Sunday for these 2 fixtures give us a chance of maximising the attendance for them both?

| I Think a switch of fixture would be benefitcial for both clubs, and the fact if it is done early doors would give time for fans who have problems attending matches which are switched to sort out other arrangements (if possible) so they can attend.

| A switch would be good being a United fan I only have a passing interest to check United players don't get injured and work out which United player will get blamed by the press for Englands downfall.
Beckham
Phil Neville
Gary Neville
Ronaldo

As long as Fabio isn't daft enough to include the welshman in that list, I couldn't care less which ones fault it is
