| It's a lot like the white shirt with pink and black trim from a year or two ago, with the addition of some paint-splashes on the front (which will cover up where I spill my dinner quite nicely?!)
Personally I prefer our navy away shirt from this year but, as far as white shirts go, it looks OK.
Always like to wait and see the actual thing though as those illustrations don't always give a true reflection.

| Lost the o key?
Why?
The rugby league rules are quite simple on this - there can be the same colours on both teams so long as the shirts are sufficiently different to allow no obvious mix-ups.

The rules may be clear in theory, but they are really poorly applied frequently. We played at Leeds in black while they wore navy, Bradford in predominantly white played at Hull in prediminantly white. I'm sure I saw a Championship game where both teams were wearing blue and white. In these cases the contrast was OK close up, but from any wide angle noth teams looked practically the same.

| Many shirt manufacturers also can't be trusted to not create an abomination for away shirts. I'd like to see this controlled centrally by the RFL, i.e. every team that plays away either plays predominantly in white or black with one extra flash of colour. This is what they do in the big American sports and it works.

| Personally I like the look of it. Not sure abut putting the kids in a predominantly white shirt though. As for the rules regarding colour clashes maybe the refs need to look as well - remember Hull at home this year? Hull away shirt and ref shirt both blue.

Of course!
Disturbingly, I was actually wearing this year's black away shirt whilst typing that post?!
Still, I prefer black to white, and even preer navy to white ..... although I don't wildly dislike the new white one either?!
Guess I'm just easily pleased?!

| Never wear one so not really that bothered.
Now if I was given a voucher for a free pint every home game instead of the replica shirt now that would be something I would be interested in.

In the NFL all teams have a white or light kit and AN Other kit of their choosing which I think would make an excellent idea in theory in RL...the only problem in RL is the number of teams who have white as a component part of their regular/traditional kit - Wigan, Hull, Saints, Hull KR.

I believe this year's shirts come with an extra thick lining and that they are thoroughly ironed before being packaged, which makes them a lot like beer on matchdays ..... warm and flat!?!
