Got the news from a good sourse that bradford got intouch with salford about signing jewitt hope they told them were to go we dont want to lose one of our good young forwards.

I hope it aint true as he is one of are good promising young player like you say i hope they turned it down

He's young i'll give you that but I just don't rate him as highly than others on here. I prefer Sidlow if I'm honest and if it meant keeping one over the other then I'd go for Sidlow.

The problem Jewitt has (in my own personal opinion) is that little step he does at the point he drives into any on coming tacklers. It takes all the momentum of his run up out of his drive and he's easily then brought down.

If he could stop doing that then he could possibly become a very good forward until then he'll just be another decent player but nothing special.

I agree with you on this whitters, plus he gives away too many penalties for my liking

Heard someone say Macrae rates him very high and says he will be world class in a few years time !! so cant see him letting him go !

He's still got time to develop but the jury is still out for me also. Unless he really improves over the next 12 months I just can't see him being anything more than an average interchange prop stroke squad player.

Jewitt needs to have a big season next year like Adamson's had this year!

I think defensively he is an exceptional talent as no-one ever runs through or over him and very rarely is he the one that misses the important tackles, reminds me a lot of Stapo in that respect.

Driving it in-wise he does OK but nothing exceptional, he's not a skittling type of forward but doesn't often get dominated from memory.

All-in-all a promising player and still only young so please keep him and he has clearly improved this season in his penalty giving away-ness and in his general play.

I agree he needs to do a lot of hard work in training developing his offensive game. He needs to show more aggression with the ball in hand by making more yards with each drive, including the odd tackle bust, break and offload.

For me he seems to have a lot more aggression defending than attacking.

Jewitt [icould[/i be a good player if he cuts out his left-right-straight step that he does before going into each tackle, it kills all his momentum. He is a big strong guy but needs to use that better and just run straight. He is a good tackler but gets stood-up too easily so he needs to work on that. Cut out some of the daft offloads and penalties and he will be a good player IMO. So if somebody does some good one-on-one coaching with him then we should keep hold of him as he is a good prospect, but at the minute I think that is all he is, a prospect.

It wouldn't do him any harm studying some old video footage of Terry O'Connor on how a prop should take the ball in straight.

and his habit of jumping into the tackle!

And if it's not the elbow then it's the raised knee in the tackle, sometimes all 3 at once!!

I'm convinced if the opposition ever decided to pull out of tackling Fozzard it would make for the funniest ball carry in RL history. I could just imagine him jumping through the air, all knees and elbows, landing very awkwardly and going over on his ankle before landing face down chewing grass!

I really like Jewitt - he's a player that has a lot of aggression in the way that he plays and, if used correctly, he could go on to be a very good player. He seems to have cut down on the penalties he gives away as well.

I would definitely be disappointed to see him go.

Don't honestly see any potential in him.

Like Jewitt,worked hard on his tackeling style and not giving penalties away like he did last year,DEFINATELY one to keep

i think onj the subject of lee jewiit. if he was coached one on one by an ex front rower who as played at the top level he could become a great super league player. is defence is good hes fit and strong,can offload just needs to work on a few little things. lateral movement and running of lines. one for the future but would be better under a coach who as a bit more idea!!!!!

Catch 22 with Jewitt.
Take out his agression and he is not the same player.
He has admitted this himself as he was aware of giving away too many penalties, so adapted his game and I feel he has now suffered.
Sidlow is a player who I still feel can be better than Jewitt but unfortunately this year seems to have taken a step back.
With good coaching both could be very good players, that is where both have suffered I feel, and it something which needs to be looked into.

Solly doesn't even like himself
