spoke to fitzy and asked him about the injury... he said he had recoverd from his injury weeks ago but just not getting a look in and couldnt understand what more he can do to get back in the team. he didnt sound very enthusiastic about wanting to stay

To be honest I don't think we should really be offering him a new contract for next year anyway. I'd probably prefer him back in the side at full back at the moment though so that Wilshere can move onto one of the wings and one of either Henry or Goulding can move back into the centres at the expense of Littler.

He needs to have a run out in the reserves in order to prove his fitness first.

Fitzy has got another year on his contract to go, so I would also get him back in the team at fullback, Wilshire to wing with Henry his centre, McGilvery on other wing & Goulding his centre so we have players in their right positions!!!! for starters as Jordan really looked as if he wasn't ar##d last Friday.

Incidentally, wasn't Fitzy dropped for letting a couple of balls bounce & Wilshire is doing that constantly of late & putting the team under mighty pressure. Think McRea should look at whats going on

Our marvellous coach was the best thing since sliced bread a short time ago, but I am glad people are now finally realising what he is like.
He needs to take a hard look at himself and his selections and do what is best for Salford, not for himself, his Aussie Buddies or his favourites in the team.
