now the season is half way through , and we have had some good results ,should the likes of young LEWIS PAWFREY given a run in the first team as some of his acamedy performances have been very good

I agree young Lewis should at least be involved in the 19 man squad first team squad each week.

This very promising player needs to play in the first team in order to get him up to speed and from now until the end of the season I would have thought Robbie Paul could teach him a lot both on and off the field before Robbie leaves us at the Willows.

Then get picked up of a another big club

Would like to see Lewis given a chance dont think he'd leave Salford if the chance came around. Practically lives next door to the Willows SALFORD THRU AND THRU

exactly! I personally wouldn't play him, he didn't even get a sniff at playing for us last season in NL1 nevermind superleague! Has he been playing in the reserves?

He didn't get a sniff because of Richie Myler and Stef Ratchford, who in my books are both examples of 'giving youth a chance'.

So he's unlucky really to be behind 2 great players who both are young and the same position as him.

give LEWIS a chance , a good salford lad , and a great prospect

Yeah thats my point! Your going to drop one of them to play palfry? Then you've got smith now fit as well! Think next season he will have his chance, needs to bulk up a bit first.

Whilst I understand what you're saying regarding Lewis and he's impressed me in the games I've seen him play this season and I'd love to see Salford lads hitting the first team , like the guys have already posted think he needs more time to develop and again as has been said who do you drop for him, Myler or Ratchford?

And let's look at the facts,

Myler 18, Ratchford 20, Turner 20, Thornley 20, Sidlow 21, Adamson 21, McGilvray 21, Goulding 21, Jewitt 22 & Nash 23 have all played first team this season, that's 10 under 23, I think we're doing our bit to give youth a chance.

Send him to Karl Harrison, if I recall the lad Dickinson we got so not big for a prop then by the time Harrison had finished with him he was bulk like the proverbial brick ehouse.

Yeah and he played like one to!
