Traveling around Australia presents many dangers. Most of them on behalf of mother nature. What the experts fail to mention is the gut wrenching sickness you must endure as you watch you beloved Salford RL play on TV. Yeah sure, the weather's still great but I'd quite happily swap it for a sing song with the red army on a freezing cold night in Salford. OUCH. Last Sunday a.m (Sydney Time) stung real bad.

Listen up peeps. JUST SAY NO to traveling during the season!

Oh. Forgot to mention it. I had all the flags and banners decorating my living room. My Swedish and German flatmates wondered what the hell was going on. I think they got it when I went crackers after Stapo scored.

It was on 9. 1230 on Sunday night. They are showing every sky televised game. Tis sweet if not a little depressing.

Variety of reasons really. In the other 6 days that there are in a week when not matchday, I have a career to plan, a rugby league adventure to experience culminating in 2 State of Origin matches, general travel and all-round life changing experience. I obviously hate the fact that this means I miss my beloved Salford for half a season and have gone to great trouble trying to find ways around it including becoming a gigolo (sp) for an Aussie millionairess in order to be able to fly home and back every weekend. Serious! Unfortunately she wouldn't let me fly so frequently as she felt this would affect my performance. Tut!
