| I doubt i'm the only one who thinks this but does the club not see the need for a little more variety in the beer sales kiosks? not being a lover of weak lager surely the club could get a decent supply of bitter to offer a bit of choice and in the manner of the old XXXX advert we could get a bottle of something for the Sheilas

I did raise this with one of the girls in the kiosk about getting some Strongbow in. She asked me if I could drink a crate (she obviously doesn't know me very well ). I'm pretty sure if they got a couple of crates of Cider & Bitter in there'd be plenty of takers.

| Think if the club did a bit of a trial and got a few crates on Cider, Bitter and shock horror maybe even a palatable lager they would not be left with many, and I'm pretty certain that they would get a good enough deal from the brewery to make it worth there while.

A fruit based beverage?
No excuses really for not having a bit of variety.
It only takes the same time to pour a draught flow bitter or cider as a can of warm gnats p@ss.

| not only a few different beers but a few more outlets as well,
just think how much the club could make by buying the bitter and Cider from ASDA, we could soon reach max salary cap with a crowd of 6000.

| Bazens or Holts
A pin of real ale ... not this fizz.
Real cider - again easily served.
With some of the polypins, this is very easy to set up.

There’s only one problem: it’s a Calrsberg-Tetley joint.

Last time I checked Tetley made bitter that is'nt to bad.
Anything FFS would be better than haveing to drink the cack they serve currently.
For the older Monty Python fans in the audience its like "making love on a boat".

I don't mind Tetley's, if it's kept well.

| Cans of Carlsberg (if they REALLY have to), Tetley's Draught and Strongbow would just about cover everyone's needs I think?
Surely not beyond the realms of possibility?
Who do I need to mail at the club?

Shame on you Any self-respecting Cider drinker only drinks Strongbow (or Magners when they sell nothing else!). Koppaberg is the Swinton Lions of fizzy apple juice

DO me a favour, that means someone has to think of that idea, and ideas like that are lacking at salford .
Guinness for me,
plus £2.50 for a can, bought in bulk is a bit steep, £1.50 shud be a better honest price.

NO THEY DO NOT!
An issue with Tetley's is the planned closure of the brewing plant.... This may need watching. beer alters when brewed elsewhere
We may have a guest agreement. This would give us a chance of good ale.

Thanks to sky moving the game to the Saturday for TV reasons the club was booked out for Weddings - although many guests at the wedding (including the bride at the one in the restraunt) should have counted towards our attendance on the night as they seemed more interested in the game than the wedding. The club I'm sure will be available for most matches thus satisfying people who would prefer a different beverage.

Don't know if it's the same in RL as football but I was told at the Reebok that fans can drink from plastic bottles, but not have the lids?!
Apparently there food stalls (which are franchised out, so BWFC make no direct profit from them) are allowed to sell drinks in plastic cups or plastics bottles, but that the bottles must have screw-tops removed?!?
A copper and a steward backed this up saying that a full bottle with lid on could be used as a missile, and could hence be seen as a dangerous weapon, whereas without a lid it couldn't do as much damage.
I did offer to prove them wrong by doing some damage to Nicky Hunt with a lid-less bottle but they politely declined?!

| much as i'l love a good ale or bitter in the ground i can't se it happening. I'm guessing they sell the rubbish they sell because it's the best thing buisness wise (which i woudln't understand*). If they could make as much or more money selling a good selection of quality drinks i think they would!
*from what i can tell the best thing buisnes wise means to do what ever customers don't want and somehow make loads of money doing it!

| Bottles of Holts' 1849 poured into a plastic glass would be an acceptable alternative to the cr[ia[/ip we have to put up with at the moment.
And Strongbow?! Give your head a wobble, that stuff's loony juice. Never touching it again after a few weeks ago...

I can testfy to that having been hit by one in Rome and they were still selling them with the lids on so they could throw them at us.
