- the actual game at the grand final...typical of the whole SL season for me, dull dull and dull again - pragmatism and professionalism wins out over skill for me
- people being down on England's chances in the 4 Nations...yes we will struggle in the backs but a) we always do and b) without the likes of Eastmond, McGuire, Burrow, Senior, Gleeson who are we supposed to pick?

People who push buttons for floors in lifts that are already lit up, as if the lift will only stop at that floor if they've pressed the button.

The guy at the petrol station earlier, who in order to get LPG in his car, had to get a jack out of the boot, lift the car off the ground and crawl under it. Quite a crowd gathered to watch. Personally, even if they invented a car that ran on tapwater, but it needed jacking up every time you filled it, I'd still stick with petrol.

The top players in the world have a handicap of around +6 (I think), so he has a way to go yet, but he may well make it.
