Now that is one rumour I wouldn't be unhappy to see come to fruition, an excellent utility back and a decent kicker if i remember correctly and he has got to be in his early 20's making him one of the clubs senior professionals if he does sign.

Just out of interest does anyone know if the squad we are getting together will be the youngest in SL history? and surely we have got to have a very good chance of having the greatest number of British born players of any of the current or past SL first team squads.

Good player has something we are now lacking which is experiance, but out of the current squad, Talau, Littler, Gibson, Henry there preferred position is centre, although i dont think Goulding and Karl Pryce will be happy playing back up for another season

Well I very much hope you're right. Would be a great signing in many respects.

A much better signing than Gibson imo. He has much more potential from what I have seen of him.

I wouldnt want him to be honest. Carmonts defence is pretty poor and he is another over the hill import who is now looking for one last big contract because he is on his last legs. Do we really want him and Talau as our centres, players who could potentially miss much of the season through injury whilst taking up a big chunk of our salary cap. I would much rather we had Goulding back to be honest or indeed Broughton if that rumour is true.

Most impressive if true, the club really are going for the look at us were promoting British youth look.

have to be honest my feelings with regard to our signings vary between exciting young talent with things to prove or this smacks of what we used to do in the National League-sign hopefuls

Simon Worrall signed a 1 year contract extension at Leeds, but will be loaned out to Toulouse.

IS it just me or does that strike anyone else as odd? if he is worth keeping for the future why only give him a 1 year deal, and not only that loan him out for that year ?

It's a low risk way of retaining a player to see how he develops, with the knowledge that you can recall him if there's an injury crisis.
