It will be interesting to see who plays this week with Sau due back, i'd put him back in and play Jones in second row with Lannon missing out!

Is the Widnes result that phenomenal? Lets not forget they beat a much stronger Leeds on the iPitch last season too. I'm not wanting to take anything away from them, but this isn't a freak result.

I wouldn't drop Lannon either, the kid had a great game vs Saints and doesn't deserve to lose his place. Infact 1-17 the only player who does is probably Joseph. Nice problem to have, but someone is going to be disappointed on Sunday.

Whilst Lannon is undoubtedly a talent, shouldn't the club be nurturing his talent and not over exposing him as he's just starting out. Though he does look a great player in the making.

Team spots shoupd be based on performance which he has done well in. So yes he should be in the team until he has a poor run of form.

You have to give credit to Widnes on their great start and win against the rhinos, but as we've got the home team advantage I'm quietly confident of getting a result.

Looking at those first 5 fixtures many had us written off with a possible two points, but hopefully if we build on the Saints game and grab the two on Sunday were a lot better off than we all anticipated.

But this is rugby, we are Salford and anything can happen, so not getting too excited just yet.

I have never managed to watch a Salford game on a stream ever, if its not on sky and im not going to the game its basically tough ha.

Widnes have sold out their allocation and some fans also bought from Salford too. Should be a great atmosphere.

Only pay on the day tickets left for Widnes fans.

I know Donna very well from the club shop and all allocated tickets sold. You can pay on the day though just the 1100 tickets given by Salford sold out. I know a few who have also bought from Salford too. So should be 1500 to 2000 from Widnes at the game.

Well done sounded a great game. We seem to be very evenly matched this year but as 2 decent sides instead of 2 poor sides. Looking forward to the reverse fixture at our place as I cant make the magic weekend this year.

It sounds like a daft thing to say, but last week was the easy bit. You had to prove you could back that up with another solid performance, and thats a good result today.

Really starting to fancy a top 8 spot for you guys.

I think it's going to be a closer League this year. Teams like Salford, Widnes and Cas seem to have improved, and Saints, Leeds, Cats and Huddersfield seem to be struggling a bit. Should be interesting.

You thought Salfords win was an easy win.....If widnes hadn't given away a shed load of pens the result would have been very different.

Yeh yeh and I'm sure Bentham was to blame for gifting us 28 points.
If was certainly a game of two halves the first 20 you had no answer, then slowly came back into it just before the break.
We then switched off for 30 minutes but credit to you guys you were totally the better side in the second 40.
Very tough game, end to end, if we both keep up that form I can see you taking the spoils on the ipitch but magic has the makings for a cracker.

Where in my sentence did I mention the referee??????
widnes gave away to many pens thru pure stupidity which in turn got you up the field on numerous occasions.
