| Quote ="cheekydiddles"Jesus mate, you need to go to specsavers
For the Salford one the bloke catching the ball was a yard in front of the player when he passed it so technically a penalty but these are never given and just instead penalised as a forward pass.
The Leeds one was probably forward as well but was more marginal as if McGuire doesn't get knocked back in the tackle on release it would have possibly looked marginal/flat at best. Could have gone either way but they are 50/50 calls. There is however no way on earth that your forward pass try was a 50/50 as it was forward all day long as the passer threw it to a man stood well in front of him.
Your team are definitely on the up and will be a force next year. Console yourself with that.
Great game to watch and one of the best if not THE best atmospheres I've heard at your new ground.'"
I think we both need to go! Was re-watching the game pretty late and was half dozing off at points. Thought I'd give it another fresh look this morning and from the ref cam it does look like it Rapira's hands are actually facing forward. Fages was nowhere near a yard in front though when it was passed!
Anyway, pretty disappointed we didn't manage to grab at least a draw but enjoyed the game. It's a shame Chase passed the ball forward to Evalds on the final play as the kick to the corner to Johnson looked like it might have been on.
Harris' improvements to the side there to be seen again. Still the odd frustrating lapse in concentration but defensively we're probably playing as good overall as we have done in a long time.
Looking forward to Wigan away, can't see us getting anything there though.

| Another good performance, yet more proof we're heading in the right direction. Gutted we didn't win and think we have too much to do for the 8, but proud of the effort.
walne was outstanding, I also thought Rapira went well.

Good performance from your boys against us last night. You have the makings of a decent side, plus I think Harris could well turn out to be one of super leagues best coaches. He certainly has the intelligence .
Locke looks to be a superb signing, obviously not fit but showed some class bits of play during the short time he was on the field.
I don't think HKR will beat widnes, hull or Catalan so you may be in with a chance. Good luck

I think you need to re-assess your predictions and add Wakefield seing as they are somehow good enough to post FORTY points away at Warrington, and that Wigan are so bad they can lose at Bradford bearing in mind they never win at Widnes. That said I'm sure they will bring their "A" game with them on thursday after Wane has given them the rounds.

| I make Wakey maybe 21 points or 23 if they can beat Rervers :-
Wakey currently 19 pts
Huddersfield home lose
Saints away win (Half the team out currently so every chance - hope we get them in the Play Offs!)
Salford home lose
Cas away lose
HKR home lose
19 + 2 = 21

| It seems people are assuming Catalans have already made the top 8 seeing as no-one's mentioned them.
They're currently in 7th, 7 points clear of 12th placed Hull FC with 10 points still to play for.
Their run-in is as follows:
Warrington (h)
Salford (a)
London (h)
Hull KR (a)
Cas (h)
With the exception of London that's 4 very tough games especially when you consider their away record this year.
I think there's still 2 play-off spots to play for.
Catalans are in no way safe!

| Well I would be surprised PB
They have 23 now and London to come plus a good points difference compared to others -
If we can win all 5 then YES I would agree.

| Could have done without Bradford beating Wigan yesterday. No doubt Wane will be reading them the riot act this week.
No excuses though, play like we have been doing the last 5 weeks and we'll have a chance.

| Depends on whether we beat Wigan. If we can, we could easily win the other four.
That means KR and Widnes could win three out of the last five and we still qualify.
Having said that KR have five winnable games and if they do that and Catalans win their home games we can't make it.

| I still think we are probably two wins short of being able too make the 8, for me much more important and building momentum to carry over into next season.
I also say London won't carry their bat and will beat someone before the end of the season, just hope we don't assume it's a win and really go all out too beat them, doing so might help us get into a positive points position.

| I think were going to fall short but as Michigan says it's all about building momentum for next season realistically we should be looking at top6 minimum.

There was a bit more to it than that.
Cracking performance from the lads. We're getting there, finally.
