| I did not go to the game today becasue of a prior commitmment so I cannot comment on todays performance.
Many people will not have a problem with a player leaving to further his career or even for more money (after all if we were offered a new job with better pay we would all take it). However at present he is a salford player being paid by the salford club and its fans, so if what is posted on here is true and he is simply biding his time before he goes to Warrington then he is indeed an ungrateful sh#t. He should play his heart out until the day he pulls that shirt on for the last time and if he can't do that we should have the bottle to leave him out and put out a team that gives a stuff.

| Quote I don't think anyone really knows what will happen to Myler next season, but this sort of comment is well out of order. Myler was presumably, according to your logic, an 'ungrateful Sh#t' to Widnes when he left them for Salford. Why is it different if he leaves you now?'"
The difference was Widnes had gone into administration and all the staff were out of contract
this time Myler has more than twelve months on his contract so he should not be approaced by other clubs or offered to other clubs by his agent without those clubs first approaching his current club

Bingo, we may not like it but the man's absolutely right, in signing for us Myler showed that his career meant more to him than any perception of loyalty, can we really feign surprise that he's doing the same again? He was poor today yes but so were the rest of our team, I thought his new teamates did him no favours though when they were lining up to congratulate him after 1 of their tries but hey lets forget about the fact that the whole team clocked off once Wire took the lead & let's blame all our ills on some youmg kid. That's the easy option isn't it?

| Teams release players for better options when they're not performing, fair that a player can want to leave when the team isn't, also take into account Salford will do very well out of the deal.

| Some Salford supporters are coming up with the same crap as they did with Andy Coley.
Just because they're losing they aim most of the blame towards their most pivotal player who happens to be leaving their club at the end of the season.
Change the record guys.

Did you actually see Coley play the season we went down? I agree that Myler doesn't deserve the abuse he's had over the last few weeks but if he does start to displaying the type of effort, or should I say lack of effort, displayed by the likes of Coley that year then he will deserve his critics.

You do realise being 14 isn't a valid excuse for not being able to spell?

Are you in any position to comment? Do you actually have a clue what you're talking about? No, do you buggery.
The lad's lost interest. Going back under the sticks and waving his hands around doesn't cut it for me as trying to motivate the rest of the team. Good luck to him, like, I won't be screaming for his head on a plate or anything, but it's plainly obvious he doesn't want to be here.

| the only thing thats bugging me is when i watch him his vibes are spreading to other players and this is obviously seen by the fans, im not denying the fact of what a great player he is/will be but if he doesnt want to play for us then we shouldn't see him in a salford shirt again. he is disinterested and cannot wait to get out so why should we play him?
for example people on here slag of littler but he loves this club and loves the fans, thats what i wanna see when i watch my team. imagine we had 17 stuart littlers playing every week (not quality wise, passion, driver etc) we would be a lot higher up than we are now, for the first time in 14 years im actually in 2 minds whether to go on friday just because i cant be ar sed with a lacklustre display that will enrage me

I said some Salford supporters, not all.
And you're totally right in regards to some Wigan supporters.
In regards to Myler, I think there's other factors involved.
This is his first Super League season and I can't see how anybody expects him to be top of his his game and consistant every week. There will be times when his head and enthusiasm is down just like any player and people are using his potential move else where as an excuse.
What's the rest of the squads excuse?
It's the same with Sam Tomkins. He had small period of average games but picked up form when the rest of the squad did.
